God Declares the End from the Beginning By Mitchell Kuhn Isa 46:10 (NKJV) Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,' Why does God declare the end from the beginning? Isa 48:5 (NKJV) Even from the beginning I have declared it to you; Before it came to pass I proclaimed it to you, Lest you should say, 'My idol has done them, And my carved image and my molded image Have commanded them.' Jdg 7:2 (NKJV) And the LORD said to Gideon, "The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, 'My own hand has saved me.' 2Co 12:7 (NKJV) And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 2Co 12:8 (NKJV) Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 2Co 12:9 (NKJV) And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2Co 12:10 (NKJV) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Num 13:31 (NKJV) But the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we." Num 13:32 (NKJV) And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, "The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.
Num 13:33 (NKJV) There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight." Num 14:7 (NKJV) and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: "The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. Num 14:8 (NKJV) If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, 'a land which flows with milk and honey.' Num 14:9 (NKJV) Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them." 1Co 1:26 (NKJV) For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 1Co 1:27 (NKJV) But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 1Co 1:28 (NKJV) and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 1Co 1:29 (NKJV) that no flesh should glory in His presence. How has God ordained that we overcome? We follow the commands God gives us. 2Co 10:4 (NKJV) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 2Co 10:5 (NKJV) casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2Co 10:6 (NKJV) and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. Jos 6:1 (NKJV) Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. Jos 6:2 (NKJV) And the LORD said to Joshua: "See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.
Jos 6:3 (NKJV) You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. Jos 6:4 (NKJV) And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. Jos 6:5 (NKJV) It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him." Luk 18:24 (NKJV) And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! Luk 18:25 (NKJV) For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." Luk 18:26 (NKJV) And those who heard it said, "Who then can be saved?" Luk 18:27 (NKJV) But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." What weapons has God given us? 1. Truth Joh 8:32 (NKJV) And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Joh 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Mat 7:24 (NKJV) "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: Mat 7:25 (NKJV) and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. Mat 7:26 (NKJV) "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: Mat 7:27 (NKJV) and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
1Ti 3:15 (NKJV) but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 2. Righteousness Heb 12:11 (NKJV) Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. o Righteousness- G1343 o a. the doctrine concerning the way in which man may attain a state approved of God o b. integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting Gal 5:5 (NKJV) For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 3. Gospel (good news) of Peace (not anxious) Php 4:6 (NKJV) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Php 4:7 (NKJV) and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Rom 5:1 (NKJV) Therefore, having been justified (made righteous) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 4. Faith Heb 11:1 (ESV) Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Heb 11:2 (ESV) For by it the people of old received their commendation.
5. Hope of salvation Rom 8:23 (ESV) And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Rom 8:24 (ESV) For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 6. Prayer- communication with your leader 1Th 5:16 (ESV) Rejoice always, 1Th 5:17 (ESV) pray without ceasing, 1Th 5:18 (ESV) give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Php 4:6 (ESV) do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Php 4:7 (ESV) And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 7. Our army, the saints Heb 10:24 (NKJV) And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, Heb 10:25 (NKJV) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Heb 3:12 (NKJV) Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; Heb 3:13 (NKJV) but exhort one another daily, while it is called "TODAY," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Eph 6:13 (NKJV) Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:14 (NKJV) Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, Eph 6:15 (NKJV) and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 (NKJV) above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Eph 6:17 (NKJV) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Eph 6:18 (NKJV) praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints http://tryingthespirits.com/study_notes/waging_spiritual_warfare.pdf Promises declared: Isa 48:8 (NKJV) Surely you did not hear, Surely you did not know; Surely from long ago your ear was not opened. For I knew that you would deal very treacherously, And were called a transgressor from the womb. Isa 48:9 (NKJV) "For My name's sake I will defer My anger, And for My praise I will restrain it from you, So that I do not cut you off. Isa 48:10 (NKJV) Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. Isa 48:11 (NKJV) For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another. Isa 54:1 (NKJV) "Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman," says the LORD. Isa 54:2 (NKJV) "Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes. Isa 54:3 (NKJV) For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited. Isa 54:4 (NKJV) "Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
Isa 54:5 (NKJV) For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. Setting our minds on things above is thinking about the end that God is declaring to us from the beginning. Col 3:1 (NKJV) If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Col 3:2 (NKJV) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Col 3:3 (NKJV) For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Col 3:4 (NKJV) When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Col 3:5 (NKJV) Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. (love of the world) Col 3:6 (NKJV) Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, Col 3:7 (NKJV) in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
