Thanks everyone, Vivian Amu Head Sacristan of St. John s Parish PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW: Here are a few items to note concerning your ministries: All Lectors and Leaders of Prayers: Please sign in at the main entrance of church at least 10 minutes before Mass starts All readers are asked to take part in the Opening Procession. First Lector carries the Book of the Gospel places it on the altar steps back and bows proceed to seat The Second Lector and the Leader of Prayers follows side by side Wait at the base of the steps for the Gospel Book to be placed then bow and proceed to your seats The readings for the weekend can also be found at the following websites: http://www.usccb.org/nab/today.shtml Eucharistic Ministers Please sign in at the main entrance of the church when you first arrive. If you are not signed in at least 3-5 minutes before the start of mass we will begin to fill the positions AFTER communion just place your vessel on the credence table
After MASS EME come to the sacristy to help consume any precious blood that might be left and purify the vessels. Afterwards please go to the sacristy to wash the chalices and plates. This has been working well at all other Masses. This will only take a few minutes. Serve the choir after all other people have been served. Thank you and Blessings on you and your ministry!
