The Time is at Hand 1. The weight of your calling 2. Now is the time 3. How to be faithful now in this life (Mar 1:14 NKJV) Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, (Mar 1:15 NKJV) and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand (near). Repent, and believe in the gospel." Mal 3:5 (NKJV) And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien Because they do not fear Me," Says the LORD of hosts. OT Buildup: 400 year silence. (1Pe 1:10 NKJV) Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, (1Pe 1:11 NKJV) searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. (1Pe 1:12 NKJV) To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven things which angels desire to look into. (1Pe 1:13 NKJV) Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; (2Co 4:15 NKJV) For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. (2Co 4:16 NKJV) Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

(2Co 4:17 NKJV) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, (2Co 4:18 NKJV) while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (Col 1:24 NKJV) I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church (Col 1:25 NKJV) of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, (Col 1:26 NKJV) the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. (Col 1:27 NKJV) To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Col 1:28 NKJV) Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. (Col 1:29 NKJV) To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. (Mar 1:14 NKJV) Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, (Mar 1:15 NKJV) and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand (G1448). Repent, and believe in the gospel." (Rev 1:3 KJV) Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Negative: (Mat 15:8 NKJV) 'THESE PEOPLE DRAW NEAR TO ME WITH THEIR MOUTH, AND HONOR ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. (Luk 9:57 NKJV) Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, "Lord, I will follow You wherever You go." (Luk 9:58 NKJV) And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head." (Joh 18:36 NKJV) Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not

be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here." (Luk 9:59 NKJV) Then He said to another, "Follow Me." But he said, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." (Luk 9:60 NKJV) Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God." (Luk 9:61 NKJV) And another also said, "Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house." (Luk 9:62 NKJV) But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." (Mat 10:37 NKJV) He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. (Mat 10:38 NKJV) And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. (Mat 10:39 NKJV) He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. (2Ti 4:10 NKJV) for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. (1Jn 2:15 NKJV) Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1Jn 2:16 NKJV) For all that is in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. (1Jn 2:17 NKJV) And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (Gen 25:29 NKJV) Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. (Gen 25:30 NKJV) And Esau said to Jacob, "Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary." Therefore his name was called Edom. (Gen 25:31 NKJV) But Jacob said, "Sell me your birthright as of this day." (Gen 25:32 NKJV) And Esau said, "Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?" (Gen 25:33 NKJV) Then Jacob said, "Swear to me as of this day." So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. (Gen 25:34 NKJV) And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.

(Ecc 1:2 NKJV) "Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher; "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." (Ecc 1:3 NKJV) What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun? (Ecc 1:8 NKJV) All things are full of labor; Man cannot express it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor the ear filled with hearing. How much do you want? More. http://tryingthespirits.com/2013-08/stewardship-part-1/ (2Th 3:7 NKJV) For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you; (2Th 3:8 NKJV) nor did we eat anyone's bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, (2Th 3:9 NKJV) not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us. (2Th 3:10 NKJV) For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. Posative: (Luk 7:12 NKJV) And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. (Luk 7:13 NKJV) When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep." (Luk 7:14 NKJV) Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise." (Luk 7:15 NKJV) So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother. (Luk 7:16 NKJV) Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people." (Luk 7:17 NKJV) And this report about Him went throughout all Judea and all the surrounding region. Rev 22:6 Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.

Rev 22:7 "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book." Rev 22:8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. Rev 22:9 Then he said to me, "See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God." Rev 22:10 And he said to me, "Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. Rev 22:12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. Faithful where you are: (Luk 16:10 NKJV) He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. (Luk 16:11 NKJV) Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? (Luk 16:12 NKJV) And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own? (Luk 16:13 NKJV) "No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." (Gen 39:1 NKJV) Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there. (Gen 39:2 NKJV) The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. (Gen 39:3 NKJV) And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand. (Gen 39:4 NKJV) So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority. (Gen 39:5 NKJV) So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was on all that he had in the house and in the field. (Gen 39:6 NKJV) Thus he left all that he had in Joseph's hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. Now Joseph was

handsome in form and appearance. Gen 39:19 So it was, when his master heard the words which his wife spoke to him, saying, "Your servant did to me after this manner," that his anger was aroused. Gen 39:20 Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. Gen 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. Gen 39:22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. Gen 39:23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority, because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper. (Gen 40:22 NKJV) But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them. (Gen 40:23 NKJV) Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him. (Gen 41:1 NKJV) Then it came to pass, at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh had a dream; and behold, he stood by the river. (Gen 41:12 NKJV) Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there, a servant of the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; to each man he interpreted according to his own dream. (Gen 41:13 NKJV) And it came to pass, just as he interpreted for us, so it happened. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him." (Gen 41:14 NKJV) Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh. (Gen 41:37 NKJV) So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants. (Gen 41:38 NKJV) And Pharaoh said to his servants, "Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?" (Gen 41:39 NKJV) Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. (Gen 41:40 NKJV) You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater

than you." (Gen 41:41 NKJV) And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt." (1Th 4:9 NKJV) But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; (1Th 4:10 NKJV) and indeed you do so toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; (1Th 4:11 NKJV) that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, (1Th 4:12 NKJV) that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing. 2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 2Pe 1:3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 2Pe 1:4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2Pe 1:5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 2Pe 1:6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 2Pe 1:7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 2Pe 1:8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Pe 1:9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 2Pe 1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 2Pe 1:11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2Pe 1:12 For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth. 2Pe 1:13 Yes, I think it is right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir

you up by reminding you, 2Pe 1:14 knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me. 2Pe 1:15 Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease. (Joh 13:34 NKJV) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (Joh 13:35 NKJV) By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (1Co 12:26 NKJV) And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. (1Co 12:27 NKJV) Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. (2Ch 2:5 NKJV) And the temple which I build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods. (2Ch 2:6 NKJV) But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him? (2Ch 2:7 NKJV) Therefore send me at once a man skillful to work in gold and silver, in bronze and iron, in purple and crimson and blue, who has skill to engrave with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided. (2Ch 2:13 NKJV) And now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram my master craftsman (2Ch 2:14 NKJV) (the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre), skilled to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, stone and wood, purple and blue, fine linen and crimson, and to make any engraving and to accomplish any plan which may be given to him, with your skillful men and with the skillful men of my lord David your father. (2Ti 2:15 NKJV) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2Ti 2:16 NKJV) But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. (2Ti 2:17 NKJV) And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, (2Ti 2:18 NKJV) who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.

(Eph 4:14 NKJV) that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, (Eph 4:15 NKJV) but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head Christ (Eph 4:16 NKJV) from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Eph 4:17 NKJV) This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, (Eph 4:31 NKJV) Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. (Eph 4:32 NKJV) And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Pe 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 2Pe 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error. 2Pe 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 2Pe 2:20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 2Pe 2:21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 2Pe 2:22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A DOG RETURNS TO HIS OWN VOMIT," and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire."
