For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again In accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven And is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, And his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son. HOW TO PRAY THE ROSARY

HAIL, HOLY QUEEN Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy Hail our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To you we cry, poor banished children of Eve; To you we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, Your eyes of mercy towards us and after this our exile show to us the blessed fruit of your womb Jesus O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us pray O God, whose only begotten Son by his life, death and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life: grant, we beseech you, that meditating on the mysteries of the most holy rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise. Through the same Christ, our Lord, Amen.

THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS 1: Jesus is condemned to die 2: Jesus takes up his cross 3: Jesus falls the first time 4: Jesus meets Mary, his mother 5: Simon helps Jesus carry his cross 6: Veronica wipes Jesus face 7: Jesus falls a second time. 8: Jesus speaks to the women of Jerusalem 9: Jesus falls a third time 10: Jesus clothes are torn off 11: Jesus is nailed to the cross 12: Jesus dies 13: Jesus is taken down from the cross 14: Jesus is laid in the tomb

Year Six All previous prayers and the following ACT OF FAITH O my God, I believe in you, And in all that your Holy Church teaches, Because you have said it and your word is true. You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, You are my Lord and my God. Lord, I believe, increase my faith. ACT OF CHARITY O my God, I love you with all my heart, With all my soul, and with all my strength. Lord, increase our love. Help us to love one another. ACT OF HOPE O my God, I put my hope in you, Because I am sure of your promises. Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, And grant us peace in our day, As we wait in joyful hope For the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of the faithful, And kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created, And you will renew the face of the earth. O God who has taught the hearts of the faithful By the light of the Holy Spirit, Grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, And ever to rejoice in his consolation, Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen

THE MEMORARE Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that it is a thing unheard of, That anyone ever had recourse to your protection, Implored your help, or sought your intercession, and was left forsaken. Filled therefore with confidence in your goodness, I fly to you, O Mother, Virgin of virgins. To you I come, before you I stand, a sorrowful sinner. Despise not my poor words, O Mother of the Word of God, But graciously hear and grant my prayer. Amen. THE MAGNIFICAT My soul glorifies the Lord My spirit rejoices in God, my Saviour. He looks on his servant in her lowliness Henceforth all ages will call me blessed. The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy his name! His mercy is from age to age, On those who fear him. He puts forth his arm in strength And scatters the proud-hearted. He casts the mighty from their thrones And raises the lowly. He fills the starving with good things, Remembering his mercy, The mercy promised to our fathers, To Abraham and his sons for ever. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. NUNC DIMITTIS (Simeon s praise to God). Now Lord you have kept your promise, and you may let your servant go in peace. With my own eyes I have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples: a light to reveal your will to the gentiles and bring glory to your people Israel.

PRAYER OF ST FRANCIS Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen. THE APOSTLES CREED I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
