Learning to Love your Meditation with Mary Gail Sovik Saturday, July 19, 9:30-11:30am In the early stages of meditation practice, japa (mantra repetition) may feel like a chore, a requirement for moving ahead. As time moves on, however, a relationship begins to develop between heart and mantra. Daily repetition strengthens this love, and the mantra becomes a devotional resource and a refuge from the stresses of life s journey. No longer a job that needs to be done, we begin to cherish our sitting time and desire to return and rest in this oasis of internal peace and stillness.
