2 Composer Notes ohn Becker s Litany the Saints has earned a solid place in the repertoire the Catholic liturgical orld The simple but highly memorable tune has been sung and enoyed by assemblies orldide In 997 I as asked to do a proect called Songs the Good Shepherd for Catechesis the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based children s religious education program The teachers ent through the lessons and said It ould be great if e had a song that taught the Gifts the Holy Spirit (Isaiah :2 ) and Fruits the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22 23) to the children!
