The Governm ent of Tnt p itsh g ttri angharth The Session consists of the Elders and Ministers of a Presbyterian Church and it has oversight of th e Spiritual affairs of the congregation. The Session admits members, dismisses them to other churches, has responsibility for the Church School, the services of worship, the music, the administration of the Sacraments, and the use of the church property. I t is responsible for the benevolence! missions! budget of the congregation. Th e Board of Trustees is the corporation of the church. I t has responsibility for the finances of the congregation, the care of church property, and the investment of funds. In cooperation with the Session it develops the annual budget for the current e! penses of the congregation. The Board of Deacons! Diaconate! works under the supervision of the Session and does all those things committed to it by the Session, in addition to its basic task of carrying on Ch rist s. work of compassion. Our Deacons visit the sick, correspond with our members in the armed forces, visit those who may be interested in uniting with us, provide the ushering for our services, and serve in many other ways.
