Keep the song numbers and master lists together, using the colors to avoid mixing the sets.to prepare, cut the number strips apart. Fold them all in half and put them into a container. Explain the game to the children, and emphasize that the songs will be about a specific subject,such as the Restoration, Jesus Christ, or another subject of your choosing. Make an extra copy of the master list. This game is played like Name That Tune, an old TV program.a child is chosen to draw a number from a container.the pianist and the person conducting the game have master lists.the pianist should turn the piano so that the children cannot see which song is being played.the pianist plays a few notes from the beginning of the song (not the introduction), and the children try to guess which song is being played. If they do not guess, the pianist plays a longer portion until the children are able to guess the name of the song.this game can be played for as long as time permits.the children can sing each song if desired. Children who guess correctly can be given a small sticker, or all the children can receive stickers for participation. This is a good game for emergency Sharing Times.Any song numbers can be used.a set of pages with the songs and numbers left blank is included so you can make a set of any songs you choose.you may copy the pages to make extra games, but you may not share them with other units.
