Welcome Tim Eck Timothy Eck, Worship Arts Coordinator and Director of Chancel Music Timothy J. Eck hails from Lebanon, Pennsylvania, about 15 miles east of Hershey. Tim most recently served as Director of Music and Office Manager at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill, PA. from 2010 to August 2017. Tim also taught High School Choral Music in the Lebanon School District from 1990 to 2012 where he conducted 7 choirs and directed and produced the spring musicals. Tim s church music ministry began in 1984 at a Lutheran church in Lebanon, PA. He has worked in several Lutheran churches, and has also served United Methodist and Episcopal congregations. Tim has conducted community choirs, celebration choirs, and served as Guest Conductor for the Indiana County Choral Festival and the Sullivan/Tioga/ Bradford Choral Festival. He has served as a guest choral clinician, adjudicator and panelist, and also spent some years as Music Director at the renowned Sight and Sound Theater in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Tim is father to a very talented 14 year old son, Jeremy. Tim is currently residing in Cuyahoga Falls.

Worship Arts Ministry Team Audio/Visual help needed. All 3 Services are in need of volunteers who are able to be trained to help put together PowerPoint/MediaShout presentations and to run them during the services. We also could use people who are interested in helping with sound, as well. Any level of commitment is welcome. Interested or want more information? When: Wednesday, August 30 at 6:00 pm for interested 4th grade to 6th grade singers and parents. (pizza and snacks dinner) Where: Robinson Hall Come Back to Choir. Wednesday, September 6th is the day to Come on Back to Choir. Rehearsals will resume for the 2017-2018 program year beginning with Carol Choir (4th Grade through 6th Grade) beginning at 5:00 pm. Followed by Chancel Choir 7:30-9:00pm. These rehearsals will take place in the Sanctuary. Our Youth Group Kick Off will be August 27th at 6:30 in the Youth Room. Come out for a time of fun, worship and games and prepare to start a new year around the fires of the best story ever told. Bring your friends. Bring your cat. Bring your dog. Bring your questions, but most of all bring yourself. Youth Fall Program: Our Fall Youth Program will be held on Sunday nights at 6:30. Our Wednesday night program for the Youth will alternate between service projects and fun events after our dinner together at 6:00 pm. We hope to see any student from 6th-12th grade as much as you are able to attend. Stand facing your child. Stretch your arms up in the air and say, God above me. Crouch down and place your hands on the ground and say, God below me. Stand and stretch your arms in front of you and say, God before me. Stretch your arms behind you and say, God behind me. Spread your arms out to the sides and say, God beside me. Place your hands on your chest and say, God within my heart. Amen. Repeat a few times, modifying as needed given your abilities and the abilities of your child.
