Baptism Inquiry To have your child baptized, one parent must come to the Parish Office to complete paperwork. Please bring your child s birth certificate. At least one parent must be registered as a member of the St. Joseph. Godparents are to be a man and a woman and at least one Godparent must be Catholic and verified as active in their home parish (Both St. Joseph and others) They should also come to the Parish Office to complete paperwork or if out of town, paperwork may be sent. Both Parents and Godparents must attend a Baptism Prep Class. Once class certification is received and all forms are turned in, then we will schedule your child s baptism. There is a $20 fee for the Baptismal certificate. FOCUS ON FAITH Funeral Inquiry Upon death of a loved one, contact a funeral home to make arrangements and then call the Parish Office to schedule the funeral. A member of our funeral committee will contact you and set up an appointment to plan the liturgy and music, whether at the Church, Funeral Home or at gravesite. Marriage Inquiry To be married, either the bride or groom must be Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph. Couples should first meet with a priest and will be guided through all paperwork and set a wedding date. All wedding Masses are to be held in the church or chapel, not outdoors. Couples will then attend a Marriage Prep Class. Once class certification is received, then you will meet with other staff regarding music, liturgy and other items. If your wedding is taking place in another parish, see the Parish Office for any verification forms needed.
