We will be celebrating 200 years since Dr. Doodridge and members of 25 local families began this parish. Plans are being made for a special celebration. For the occasion, we want to honor our parishioners who have been members for 50 years or more. For this we need your help. We don't want to overlook anyone who has met this milestone. So, please help us compile this list by contacting the office or Carol Thompson at 452-1155 to make sure we include you, or someone you know on this list. Thank you for your help. THE FEBRUARY VESTRY MINUTES are being sent electronically along with the March Lantern. If you prefer hard copies, both are available in the back of the church. DAUGHTERS OF THE KING would like to determine if there is an interest in an Easter Season school for children and teenagers. They plan to provide two classes: primary (ages 5-8) and intermediate (9-12) which would meet during the first part of the 10:00 services and span the Easter Season (the 7 th Sunday of Easter is May 17 th ). A class for teens could be offered on a week night or Sunday from 9-9:50. The focus of these classes will be to learn about the seasons in the church with emphasis on the current one. Children will have a culminating skit/performance/book to demonstrate their learning. If you are interested please let Nannette Sherman, Janet Stewart, Lee Donoho, Renee Spiker or Mindy Rush know so that appropriate planning and organization may take place. 5 - EASTER 12 Jim Snider 19-26 - Pat and Mindy Rush May 3 10 Charlie and Jeanann Dickerson 17 24 31 Coffee Hour April 5-12 Charlie and Jeanann Dickerson 19-26 - May 3 10 17 24 31 ST.
