THE VOICE OF CCIM - MISSIONS October 2010 CHARLENE CROSSLEY INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. That is the great commission, the command, from our Lord Jesus Christ. THANK YOU! IT IS HAPPENING Things are moving so fast on the Asesewa property that we can hardly keep up. Last month we shared with you that the school of Dressmaking had opened and the girls were excited about being there. This month we are going to share with you the progress on the Library that is being built right behind the Training Center. Partners you are doing this. You have allowed God to use you and your resources to make changes in the Township of Asesewa. The area was referred to as a village when we first started. Maybe you remember seeing pictures of us climbing up the hill with a machete cutting our way through the brush. Then there were pictures of the dedication of the land with the ground breaking ceremony. As of July 19th this year we started on the foundation of the Library and you will see such progress that it is hard to imagine. The readily available finances have helped things move on rapidly. Thank you very much. They people in the area are very appreciative. Me too.

THE FIRST LIBRARY IN ASESEWA July22,2010 August 2, 2010 August 9, 2010 Water Tower Library Sept 23,2010 The work started on the Library the third week in July and it is amazing to see the progress by the middle of August. There are no Backhoes or other machinery, this is all done by hand. The blocks have also been done by hand. I pray that you will continue to donate to the building of the first ever Library in Asesewa, Ghana West Africa. The books have already started coming in. In fact we had seven cases of books donated when the land was first purchased. Just think the people in Asesewa, the children as well as the adult community will have access to the outside world. There will be computers and other technological equipment available to them. There is also the possibility that some of the villagers will have employment. When you think about it, the first ever library and the possibility of a job too, nothing short of a blessing from God.

FREE GOSPEL NEWS ] KONO REGION The harvest trust is plenteous but the laborers are few. Matt.9:37 FROM THE NATIONAL SUPERINTENDENT The Operation Good Shepherd Mission of the Free Gospel Mission is a dynamic and passionate drive for Outreaches in Sierra Leone. It is evangelism oriented and embodies recruiting and mobilizing a frontline militant and Mission minded army for Christ s service with a clear direction to reach the unreached and un-churched regions of Sierra Leone with the Good News. The vision is born out of a compelling compassion, commitment and care for the neglected souls in Sierra Leone which for over 200 years of missionary activities remain un evangelized. With the harvest field in focused and the Great Commission as our mandate, we are resolved to leave our comfort zones for more arduous zones with the Gospel through the OGSM School of Mission training program and the Jesus film ministries. We solicit your prayers and support. Our philosophy is teaching men to reach Men 2Tim. 2:2 Rev. Daniel John Update: To God be the glory, the ministry is growing in the Kono Region. Before the war, we had only four churches, but after the war the work seems to be growing steadily. Presently we have about nineteen churches in five Chiefdoms. We are also blessed with twenty five pastors in the region. Looking at the economic trend it will surprise you to know that a greater number of these pastors do not receive even a stipend from either their churches or the mission. May God continue to supply all your needs Bro/Sis. Never the less we are not satisfied. We feel the Lord is saying to us there remaineth yet much land to be possessed? Joshua 13:1. Kono has fourteen Chiefdoms and we have entered only five. It is like He is saying the land ahead of us is larger than that behind us. It is certain that the Lord is not impressed until the last people, village is given the opportunity to hear Jesus name in their own context. CHALLENGES: The terrain in Kono and the entire road net work is rough. That makes ones movement in those areas very difficult. It is even worse in the rainy season and more so if you don t have your own motorcycle. Christian literature is hard to find in Kono. The few that is sometimes available is very expen sive. There is need for Bibles, reference books, discipleship materials, etc, etc, We are trusting God for partners to join forces with us by adopting mission fields, Pastors, projects, Churches, for consistent prayers and sup port. With committed partners we can reach these unreached people and areas affectively and timely. Remember the night cometh when no man can work. The issue of mobility (motor cycle ) is limiting us so much REPORTS FROM THE FIELDS: Generally the churches seem to be growing both qualitatively and quantitatively. The cell groups Are going on. Doors are opening up for church planting in several villages in Gbane, Fiama and the Tankor Chief doms. Church building projects are also continuing in Fiama, Nimikor and Tankor. Though there are challenges for some for roofing sheets. Boards, cement etc. We are believing God that none of these buildings will collapse due to lack of materials There are few house churches that are grow ing in number and are trusting God for a place of worship. Some of the churches are in need of resident pastors for effective teaching and disciple ship. Some of the pastors are staying as far as eighteen miles away from their churches.

OPERATION GOOD SHEPHERD MISSION: This is an arm of the ministry focusing on leadership development/training, Discipleship and Church planting among the unreached people in the district. This vision was born in 2005 by the national leadership. Some mission minded people within and outside the country bought the vision and started praying and supporting the vision. The focus at the time was purely and only church planting. Unfortunately the vision was not successful. We believe the failure came because we placed the cart before the horse. The Bible says in Mark 3:4 And He ordained twelve that they should be with Him, and that He might send them out to preach. For any one to be effective in ministry even if you are called or you make yourself available you need TO BE WITH HIM first. That time that the disciples spent with Jesus was their time of training. It was that time he disciple them, taught them how to pray, teach, preach, basic doctrine and ethics. You could see that it was after that training that He sent them out to preach and they did exploits, they were able to turn the world upside down for good and for His glory. You cannot do otherwise neither can we if we want to succeed in our church planting effort and ministry in general, that will bring the unreached to acknowledge His Lordship and expedite his coming. To God s glory we have discovered the secret and our new focus is training in (leadership, discipleship, church planting). Presently we are running the School of Mission in Nimikor and Sandor Chiefdoms. We are believing God to establish in the other Chiefdoms as well and as God provides the needed logistics. It is a portable School and intensive. It is portable because we can conduct it any where we have students available. The only thing that is slowing us down at the moment is lack of mobility. In fact the Director got stuck in Kondeya village for two days after one of the training sessions in February, simply because he could not get a commercial motor cycle to bring him back. Each of these students is expected to plant a church in an unreached area. To God be the glory, some have already started. For now we have about forty-five students in the two centers. PRAYER NEEDS: Mobility: We urgently need two off road Motor cycles. Transportation is high and diffi cult in Kono, due to the terrain. Evangelism Materials: we need a video projector and a portable generator. This is to en able us reach the villages effectively along side the training. We also need a auto focus camera with zoom lens, so that you can see what God in doing in this part of the vine yard. Harvest field. Literature: We need Bibles, reference books Materials on discipleship, church planting, Leadership etc. Partnership: Pray that God will raise faithful Partners/supporters, churches, fellowship groups, to adopt the School of Mission, church planting, projects, mission fields for prayer and support. if Jesus be God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him C.T. TRAINING SCHOOL UPDATE Pattern making and needle work Daina Linda Elizabeth We need more sponsors for the girls, Bernice Abigail Pray for our students as they embark upon a new life. This is just the beginning of a future for them. Our desire is that they will be excited about the journey and make the best of it. One day we plan to have a fashion show with them wearing the garments they have made. I prophecy they will have opportunities in this school that will take them far, far away from the villages they have come from. Thank you to our partners

he assignment, the commission, is still go. God is looking for those that will prepare and go and do. With all of the transitions He is giving you the nudge to move from the place where you are to the place where He wants you so you will fulfill the call of God on your life. His word is still to occupy til I come. The excuses will not continue to work. There is still much work to be accomplished. Many of you have said I will do what God wants, I will go where He wants and I will be what He wants but you have not moved from the place of your first confession. People are waiting. The earth is waiting. The earth is groaning and travailing for the manifestation of the sons of God. Souls are waiting. You were going to start that business, You were going to open that Day Care, you were going to open that Boutique so that you could help get people off the unemployed role. You were going to. Time is running out. If you have not prepared, other plans are now in the making. People are saying I can not find a job, they are saying the Day Care is so expensive and it is so far away from my house or the transportation. Why is that? Because some that said yes to God about occupying til He comes have procrastinated. And things that should have been in place are not in place. In Jeremiah 29:11 God says that He knows the thoughts he has for you, thoughts and plans of good and not of evil to bring you to your expected end. He has a good plan for each of us. Question? Are you going through? Are things seemingly tough right through here? Could it be that you have not followed through on what you said to The Father? Now is the time to ask Him to forgive you for being a procrastinator and get to the business at hand. Put that spirit out of your life and move from the place of doing nothing to the place of being obedient to the Father. Remember people are waiting, souls are waiting and the creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. CCIM and Staff would like to take this opportunity to thank you our partners and friends for all financial help and prayers offered up to The Father on our behalf. It is because of you that we have accomplished so much in such a short time. Please continue to pray for us and with us as we seek Him for the directions on how things are to be done. So many ideas are coming and we just want to make the right decisions. We do plan to share from time to time about other mission ministries that are laboring in God s vineyard. Africa date is October 28,2010 be in prayer for the team. Father, in Jesus name, I thank you for your word, I hunger for more of You. Help me to put Your teachings into action in my life. I seek first Your Kingdom. In Jesus name. Amen We pray for the peace of Jerusalem P.O. BOX 201526.
