The programs also included yoga, meditation, pranayam and bhajans. He was greeted everywhere with beautiful traditional Russian rituals. During the tour over 800 devotees took diksha initiation. (Pic R) Programs began in Chiliyabinsk with a 3 day seminar. 2 years ago Swami JI inaugurated the Paramanand Yog Centre and it has now become the most famous & biggest center in the city. In Ufa about 2000 came to satsangs in the largest sports complex in the city. Maharaj Ji also visited the publishing house of 10 new books that have been translated of his teachings into Russian as well as a qtly. magazine. Ufa is also the home of Paramanand Yog Centre & the HImalaya Centre for Yog & Psychology. In the Siberian city of Surgut, he was welcomed with 3 rainbows and witnessed white nights for the first time, as it does not get dark 24/7 at this time. In Arhangilsk his disciples and teachers of the Om Sattva Centre received him. Satsangs were organized in a large gym of the Sports Center. Maharaj Ji's messages were well spread around Europe as he gave interviews to TV channels and press reporters in every major city. Vedant Congress in Moscow In Moscow about 5000 people had the chance to hear Gurudev at the Advait Vedant Congress organized by Mahamandaleshwar Sw. Vishnudevanand ji Maharaj. Saints and speakers from many different countries spoke on advait vedant. Hats off to Gurudev's disciples Yoga Master Suryakant Ji and Somya Ji (Pic above front row left) who organized & managed an outstanding tour!

Guru Purnima Celebrations at Akhand Paramdham's (APD) & Pg 2 of 7 more After the Russia tour, we had a few hours to get ready for a month of Guru Puja celebrations & catch a 6 am train to Kanpur, UP where thousand of devotees awaited Gurudev's arrival. We then traveled to Bharuwa, UP for the opening of his new college, 'Yug Chetna Maha Vidyalaya' which offers BBA & BCA's. This is the first college ever for rural areas of Nazarpur, Bharua & Sumerpur inhamirpur. The annual tuition fee is the equivalent of $ 700. inc. admission, books and supplies. If you would like to sponsor a student who has demonstrated excellent abilities in Gurudev's high school, you can send an email with your intention to akhandparamdham@gmail.com Promising students can be sponsored up to 75% or $525. of the annual fee. Gurudev says 25% must be provided by the student. Next we traveled to Jhansi & finally got a few hours sleep before thousands more came for Guru Pujja. Then we headed to APD Ashram in Gwalior where long lines of devotees awaited to bring gifts to his lotus feet. Next was Vatsalya Gram where 100's of his adopted children greeted him with song. Gurudev fed the first food to one of the newest babies that had just arrived. (Pic#) Then 100+ women took diksha intiation in the new temple. (Pic$) before we left for APD Gurgaon Guru Puja. Swami Ji gives one of the new babies her first food. Next stop was APD Haridwar (Pic!L) then down to Delhi at APD in Dilshad Garden. From there to the inauguration of the new Sri Ram Temple at APD Faridabad. Paramanand Road was the next stop where new construction is going on at APD Biora, MP. Then it was onto satsangs in APD Ujjain and APD Indore (Pic!R) with graduation ceremonies at Paramanand University (Pic "L). Gurudev also checked on progress at Paramanand Hospital where a new wing was constructed for the expanding successful program for mentally and physically challenged children. The art class has developed some outstanding students (Pic" C & R). The wall was covered with sketches of Gurudev they had drawn & painted.

More... Keeping Pace With Guru Ji Around India PG. 3 OF 7 Next on the whirlwind Guru Purnima schedule was Bhopal, APD Mussenager-Karnal & Sijai. A cement mixer was given to the ashram and will now make the ongoing construction of the Swami Paramanand Goshala (cow home) & the new school a much easier task. (Pic"L). Then onto Aligarh and Mawai Dham where a temple was constructed at Gurudev's birthplace. Next stop was APD Mathura, followed by APD Vrindavan. On Independence day we returned to VatsalyaGram where there's over 1000 people now and 2 schools. Samvid International School for grade kindergarten thru 10th is an English Medium (Pic "C) & the Sanskar school for grades 1-5 is Hindi medium (2 Pics #R). Children at both schools gave great performances. Gurudev also welcomed 8 new babies into the Vatsalya Gram family (Pic$) and took time with many of his children to get updated about their grades and projects. (Pic#) The next train was to Panjab for the opening of APD Mansa Ashram (Pic$). Then onto Rajasthan for programs in Ganga Nagar where devotees showered him with roses (Pic #). Next we went onto APD Amritsar Ashram for more satsangs before catching a flight to the UK. (See article.) Upon return from the UK Guru Ji's usual fast pace continued as we caught a train the very same day to Dahod on 9/11 for satsangs in Alirajpur & Kachala. Gurudev was welcomed by hundreds of ladies carrying mud pots on their heads & brought through town in an elaborate horse carriage in a long procession to M.M. Swami Sevanand Ji Maharaj's ashram for satsangs. (3 Pics $).

UK Tour Pg. 4 of 7 Gurudev's satsangs in the UK reached all of Europe as they were aired live each morning on the Sikh TV Station, Sky Channel 840 (Pic $L). Daily inspirational messages were also recorded by the Sangat TV station. The tour included London, Derby, Hitchin, Birmingham & surrounding areas. In London Maharaj Ji gave satsangs at the Hindu Temple in Slouth and talked about the true ruling party saying "If you can conquer your mind you can conquer the world. Don't be a slave to desires. You be the master and let desires be your slaves." He also spoke for 3 days at the Ishar Darbar Nanaksar in Wolverhampton addressing the Sikh Community. Devotees came from Europe, NA, Canada & UK to have his darshan at the home of our London hosts Darshan, Surrinder, Harpreet & Champa Rani. In Derby Gurudev spoke at the Geeta Bhawan Hindu Temple which was initiated by our hosts Davinder Kaur & Gurbax Singh. Programs included multi-faith presentations depicting the unifying aspects of various spiritual paths. Satsangs In Hitchin were at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara (Pic#R) & the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara for 2 days organized by our host Kuldip Singh & family. In Birmingham, where most of the programs took place, devotees had the opportunity to come for meditation sessions at daybreak in the home of the UK program coordinator Daljit Singh Nirmla & family where we stayed. 4 days of satsang was held at the Durga Bhawan Mandir (Pic#R) culminating with Krishna's birthday, Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebration. Maharaj Ji spoke about coming into our power & that one must be careful. You might be bestowed a kingdom in your next life due to good deeds in this one but it will be a test as to if it will corrupt you. "You need to come into your power but it is power that corrupts." He also addressed devotees at Geeta Bhawan Hindu Temple. (Pic#R) The Book 'Sanskar Chinta Mani' 'All Desires Fulfilled' was inaugurated by Swami Ji at the opening of the Krishna Mandir, England's first Vishnu Panchayatan Temple. The book is written in 4 languages, Panjabi, English, Hindi & Nepali.
