TODAY AT FAITH Today we remember and celebrate Ascension Day, the day Jesus rose into the clouds forty days after the resurrection, while His disciples watched in wonder. In morning worship we start a new sermon series Standing on the Promises. Today we ll see various promises of God connected to Jesus ascension into heaven. As a congregation you are invited to participate in this series by sharing with the pastors a biblical promise precious to you. As we compile these promises we will do our best to preach from your promise this summer. Either email Pastor Greg at gschuringa@faithelmhurst.org or use the form on the sign-up counter and place it in his family s church mailbox. Thank you for your participation! In evening worship our study of Romans continues at 7:7-25 under the theme The Battle Rages On.
