PHONE: (972) 562-2601 Donovan Christopher Franko December 26, 1968 - March 7, 2016 Donovan Christopher Franko of McKinney, Texas passed away March 7, 2016, at the age of 47. He was born December 26, 1968. Donovan married Lynn M. Tanner on April 18, 1998, in Austin, Texas. He was a project manager for MLE Construction. Donovan was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. His joy and passion in life was coaching his boys. He was an avid golfer and football fan. He also loved traveling with his family. Donovan will be remembered as a charming, funny, and charismatic man. He never met a stranger. Donovan was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife, Lynn M. Franko; sons, Dylan Chase Franko and Preston Christopher Franko all of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Angela Franko, Linda Katherine Franko, and Kymisha Franko all of Fort Worth, Texas; nephew, Zachary Franko; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. I did not know him for very long but considered him a friend. His kindness and sense of humor will be missed. I am very sorry for your loss.

TERRI HOVIOUS, SEPTEMBER 5, 2016 Franko, Dang man, I'm going to miss you. Your charisma, energy, work ethic, and love for your family was unmatched. I'll miss getting Franko's picks on my email and the most random text messages. I'm so relieved to know that you had given your life to Jesus and you are now in heaven. I will continue to pray for your wife and boys. You were so proud of them. Love ya Franko, Price Pointer PRICE POINTER, MARCH 22, 2016 Sad to see my younger cousin leave this world. Tonya TONYA MCKINNEY, MARCH 17, 2016 Donovan is one of a few charished friends I ever had, we worked together, played football, softball, poker, went to hockey games and of course golfed together. He was one friend I was looking forward to having in our older years, to play golf with, make fun of the world and deny we were getting old. His sense of humor was what made his character and why we got along so well. He was a friend I could call on when my life was stressed or if I just needed someone to laugh with. As I am never to replace him as a friend I am blessed to have known him for the time we had. He will be missed. STEVEN BIN, MARCH 13, 2016 Peace be with you, do not let your hearts be trouble for Donovan is with the lord our GOD. PAUL & CARRIE FRANKO FAMILY, MARCH 12, 2016 Thoughts and prayers are with you. JOSEPH & KIM PATMAN, MARCH 12, 2016 I didn't know Donovan well, but I see lots of great memories shared by his family and friends. What I recognized immediately was his charisma and self confidence. I can see why he was such a big part of his friends and families' lives. My prayers for Lynn and the boys. KEN MOORE, MARCH 12, 2016 Godspeed Donovan. TERRIE LOONEY, MARCH 12, 2016

In loving memory of a great man, a great step son from my marriage to Wallace D Miller. Thank you for the year you lived in our home with your half brothers Ryan and Rhett Miller., your step sister Stephanie Miller. You were the best step son I could have had the opportunity to know. Your wife and children that came years later were also so very dear to our hearts. They will always be in our prayers. Remember the past Donavan, as it is so much a part of the man you became. You are truly loved! And will forever be missed... Fly now with the angles... LISA MILLER, MARCH 11, 2016 I met Donovan when Stephen and I were young I was 17 to be exact, he was Stephen Bruno's friend and they were very close. As Stephen and I had children and Donovan as well it seems as all adult relations do life pulled us apart, but I have fond memories of the guys enjoying their days playing golf and cooking on our grill the last time I saw Donovan our youngest was a year old he is now 13 so it s been a few years, but no matter how far or how long time will not change the fact he was a funny, and kind individual and a good friend of Stephen's he will be missed and I am truly sorry for your loss and pray that everyone family and friends heal from this loss and I pray angels protect and guide him along his afterlife. May peace be with you- Yvonne Perrin and Bruno children YVONNE PERRIN, MARCH 11, 2016 Angela and Linda I'm praying for the both of you and your families. The obituary said it well, a

charismatic man, never met a stranger. So true. Prayer for his wife Lynn and their boys. May they find peace in their healing. KATHERINE SODEK LANGNER, MARCH 9, 2016 Donovan was always one of my favorite people. Although I had not seen him in many years, I still have fond memories of him at Saint Rita's. Prayers for his precious family. Rest in Peace Donovan. AMY (SMITH) HOLT, MARCH 9, 2016 I have fond memories of Donovan from high school. The obituary described him perfectly, a charismatic man, never met a stranger. So true. Prayers for his wife and sons. May you find peace and healing. KATHERINE SODEK LANGNER, MARCH 9, 2016 I am so sorry to hear about Donovan's passing. I remember him as a young man when we attended the same elementary school. I was a few years ahead of him and knew his older sisters better but I always remembered him as being a nice guy and well liked by his peers. I extend my prayers and deepest condolences to his family. JULIE GREENE, MARCH 9, 2016 Donovan and Lynn were some of our first friends when we moved to Texas. Our boys being friends, we got to watch them grow up together. Donovan was always a larger than life personality with a welcome smile and laugh. Our hearts are broken for Lynn and the boys and he will genuinely be missed. TERRA HATCHER, MARCH 9, 2016 Despite the loss of the physical presence of Donovan. We know that God has assigned him to watch over his family throughout their life. We pray for him now as he prayed for us and wish him eternal peace. DEBI CISNEROS, MARCH 9, 2016 Good bye my friend, for now. Your buying the first round on the other side. ALEX CLARKE, MARCH 9, 2016 Donovan, I met you when I was 17, you were 19. We were young, enjoying life and living life large as a free spirits. You were always such a bright light to everyone came across. Your larger than life personality was infectious. The

only thing I can think to say with such an untimely passing, is that our World, the Earth, needs Angels smiling down on us from Heaven to help our weary souls to heal, love and help each other. You are now an Angel for us left down here. I thank you for that sacrifice. You are missed and will be for years to come. I pray you are happy and at peace. Love, Kristine KRISTINE BROWN, MARCH 9, 2016 Our deepest sympathy SABRA SWAIM, MARCH 9, 2016 I am so sorry for your loss. SIMON ROCHA, MARCH 9, 2016 I sure am going to miss you Donovan. I am so glad we were able to reconnect after all of these years over the past couple of months. You still made me laugh every single time I talked to you. I remember the St. Rita, Nolan, and EHHS days fondly. Our little old Meadowbrook neighborhood that we grew up in sure isn't the same these days... I am praying for you, your boys and for all of your family during this most difficult time. You were the sweetest, most wonderful man! I will never forget you... Amy AMY TREADWAY DAVIS, MARCH 9, 2016 I only met Donavan one time, and he came to our baby shower and was literally the life of the party, their were no strangers there for sure! My prayers go out to Lynn, and the boys during this time off loss.. JOHN SUTTON, MARCH 9, 2016 Rest in Peace brother, you are going to be missed! MANNY LOZANO, MARCH 9, 2016 Big D... I'm tempted to banter here like we have bantered back and forth for the past 20 plus years since we first met. You were the biggest and best trash talker that I ever met, and it pains me to speak / write about you in the past tense. I truly thought that we would be sitting in a bar when we were in our 90's talking trash about sports and music. You epitomized the phrase "play hard or go home." You worked hard and played hard all your life. Now, I imagine you up there talking trash to the angels and keeping the Almighty on His toes! I

miss you dearly already, brother. God Bless. WILLIAM SCHRIEFER, MARCH 9, 2016 Donovan, I met you through your sisters, and as usual, you held true to the Franko charisma...friendly, Fantastic, Fabulous, Fearless, and FUN. Our hearts are breaking by the sudden loss of you, but your spirit will mend the break as the good memories begin to flood our thoughts. As I write this to you, I borrow the following phrase from the "I'm Free" poem by Shannon Lee Mosley. Her words speak to the moment, and I offer them as comfort to your family and friends: If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Oh yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow Look for the sunshine of tomorrow. Rest In Peace my friend. xoxo Jami JAMI HOFFMAN, MARCH 9, 2016 I was so very sad to hear of Donovan's passing. Although, I hadn't seen him in many years - I got to know him in my younger school days. He was a great person and will be missed immensely by those who loved him and all those he met along the way. God Bless Donovan and the Franko family.
