We thank the folks that have volunteered to host. Ten different sites are available to choose from. UNITED METHODIST MEN'S MEETING BREAKFAST- Saturday August 12th. We will meet at the Church parking lot at 6:45 where we will caravan to Bert Kibbler's home, from there you will be transported by boat to Granny's on Grass Lake Rd. Due to the limit of 20 I will provide a sign up sheet in Wesley Hall. Come meet Pastor Char and her husband Glen, as we work together to share in Christ. BACKPACK FOR KIDS FOOD DELIVERY DRIVERS NEEDED! The Backpack for Kids Program sponsored by Open Arms Mission is in need of drivers of the food bags to AES and W.C. Petty schools every Friday at 9:00 am. For 25 minutes of your time, you will be assisting grade school students who are in need of nourishing food and snacks each weekend. FLOOD RELIEF (Round Lake area) The district is collecting books and contributions can be made toward the RLAS 116 foundation. We have been told that everything will be covered by insurance so the teachers at Murphy are raising money for the families near the school whose homes and vehicles were flooded. PRAYER SISTERS meet this week, Tuesday July 25th, St Stephen from 7-8:30 PM. We continue our study on "Living a Chocolate Life"--discussion this week will be on how we handle the bitterness of pain and suffering. All women are invited to join us.
