Don t forget to set your clocks back one hour. There will be an appreciation breakfast for our Pastors on November 2 nd at 9:15AM in the Parish Hall. This will take the place of adult Bible class. Breakfast tacos and drinks will be provided. An Appreciation Donation Basket will be available and all proceeds will be used to purchase gift cards for our Pastors and their families. You can also put in the basket your own gift cards or notes to be given directly to them. We are very thankful for the wonderful Pastors we have at St. Paul and this will be a great opportunity for us to all say thank you in our own way. Through the waters of the flood, faith in God, and persistent dedication, we will take a closer look at Noah and the Grace of God found in his story. Veterans Day will be observed at St. Paul Academy on Tuesday, November 11 th, with a special Veterans Day Assembly at 10:30AM in the gym. Various activities include prayers for those who have and are presently serving our country in the Armed Forces, patriotic readings and songs, a special visual presentation, and the pledge to the American flag. Following the assembly, we invite our veterans to join us for lunch. All veterans and parents are especially invited to join us for this Veterans Day tribute as we give glory to God and honor our service men and women. The youth group meetings on Sunday nights from 6-8PM have been working their way through the fundamentals of our faith and practice. Lutheranism 101 is the book we are using to discuss, learn, and strengthen our understanding of the solid foundation of our faith. We invite all confirmed youth to join us on Sunday nights.
