INTRODUCTION God s divine plan has always been to commune with us. God provides all that we need by His creative power for us to be fruitful and multiply in every area of our lives as Christians. The fullness of God s plan is coming into fruition as a new generation is setting aside old religious traditions and hungering for a new life in Christ as inheritors of God s present and everlasting Kingdom. As inheritors of the Kingdom of God, we must have a mindset of expansion. We must understand that we walk in the dual capacity of kings and priests. As kings and priests, we are to operate in natural and spiritual dimensions that bring glory and honor to the King of kings and Lord of lords. We must have our hearts and minds aligned with the mind and heart of God to build wealth. This manual focuses on our position as kings in the earth. As kings of the earth, we must operate in the anointing of Nehemiah who said: Then I said to them, You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach. And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king s words that he had spoken to me. So they said, Let us rise up and build. Then they set their hands to this good work. But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official, and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they laughed at us and despised us, and said, What is this thing that you are doing? Will you rebel against the king? So I answered them, and said to them, The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem. (Nehemiah. 2:17 20) Nehemiah said, The God of Heaven himself will prosper us. In other words, if we have the mind to build the Kingdom of God, God will provide what we need to build. The theme throughout the bible is that God provides the resources that His people need to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Accordingly, as Christians we must understand foundational biblical principles on wealth, riches, prosperity, increase, overflow, giving, and more to truly understand God s plans for wealth building in the Kingdom. For centuries, there has been a great misunderstanding of the coming of the Kingdom of God and the role of Christians in that Kingdom. Because of this misunderstanding, many Christians have only operated in a measure of their divine purpose. In fact, the church message has been so contradictory that it has operated in opposition of its own divine design by giving a pessimistic message to those Christians called into the Kingdom with resources to help spread the gospel. John Garfield cleverly demonstrates this self-destructive preaching design in Releasing Kings for Ministry in the Marketplace: Imagine a business person sitting in Church on Sunday morning listening to the preacher try to convince him/her that the Antichrist will soon take over all finances and economic control. Furthermore, God, at any moment, is going to burn everything. How can that shell-shocked businessperson go to work on Monday morning, plan for the future, hire new employees, or develop products and marketing plans? How can a teacher, who believes the world is about to end, teach mathematics, science, English, and other subjects which never will be useful to the students sitting in the classroom? How can a newly married coupled

invest in a home or plan for a family when their pastor tells them week after week that everything is about to end? 1 During this time of biblical awakening, God is raising up strategic Christians to impact the world for His glory. These Christians will have a revelation of the present Kingdom of God, understand their divine purpose and pray to become God s Wise Master Builders of Wealth. They will be committed to utilizing their resources in a way that pleases God. These Wise Master Builders of Wealth will lay a natural and spiritual foundation, built upon the Word of God, for the future generations to build upon for centuries to come. Wisdom is important in this area because we must operate by the wisdom of God, not our natural abilities. The restoration of apostolic ministry over the past decades also gave a pathway to release a restoration of wisdom and understanding of biblical principles. It is important to know that God s wisdom is not the same as natural wisdom; it is wisdom and understanding from God alone released to those who are humble. As Wise Master Builders of Wealth, we are to build on the wisdom of God and release this wisdom to the church. 2 As Wise Master Builders, we must be willing to obtain and release wealth. Our Lord is more than able to provide a tremendous increase, but we must always be willing to let it all go to follow Christ. Jesus provided an important demonstration of allowing the Lord to give us more than enough and then asks us to give it all up before moving into ministry. Simon Peter and crew had been fishing all day their means of employment and they were not seeing any results. Jesus spoke some simple directions to Simon Peter, and when he followed those directions, he had such a great number of fish that his fishing net was breaking. In fact, his increase was so great that he had to call others off of their boats to help him. People were astounded by what they saw! Wouldn t you love for people to be astounded by how the Lord miraculously transforms your financial situation when you follow His direction? Let s take this even further so you can see what happens so you can see the foundation the bible lays for Wise Master Builders of Wealth. Peter fell to his knees: in other words he bowed down in humble submission to God. Then Peter became aware of his sinful condition and recognized that he wasn t worthy to be in the presence of Jesus. Furthermore, not only was he astonished and humbled, but all who were with him (and this included James and John) were astonished as well. How did Jesus respond? Jesus simply said don t be afraid. In other words, don t fear the level of prosperity that I can bring into your life or the miracles that I can perform: just follow me. He then spoke a purpose into their lives that was greater than their financial increase. This purpose was to provide Kingdom increase of souls and it was shown when Jesus said, NOW you will be fishers of men. Let s look at this account in Luke 5:4 10: When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. But Simon answered and said to Him, Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net. And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it; he fell down at Jesus knees, saying, and Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord! For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men. Luke 5:4 10

Thus far, we should understand that God created all that we need so that we could be fruitful and multiply. We should also recognize that from the beginning, we were given dominion over what God created, and even though the authoritative and powerful position of man was lost in the Garden of Eden, the restoration of that authority and power was presented again with God s covenant to Abraham and his seed, and thus given to the inheritors of the Kingdom of God. Through Jesus Christ, though we were once Gentiles, we were grafted in to the promise and are the true seeds of Abraham. Furthermore, we should realize that God will give us more than enough. God has the ability to give us so much that even when our plans for financial increase fail, He can cause an overflow. Next, we identified that when the Lord increases are resources, we are transitioned to a place of humility, if we acknowledge Him. We should also know that the Lord increases our natural efforts, to give us the revelation that He will provide the resources that we need for both natural and spiritual increase. We should expect miracles, and we should expect God to move as we move in our divine assignments. Let s take this a step further: what should we do after we share the bible with others? Do we send them away barren and hungry? Certainly not! The Lord is able to reproduce and multiply what we have in our hands so that we can feed the people in our midst with spiritual and natural food. This is exactly what happened in Matthew 14:15 21: When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food. But Jesus said to them, They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat. And they said to Him, We have here only five loaves and two fish. He said, Bring them here to Me. 19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children. (Matthew 14:5-21) We will discuss these principles and so many more in this manual. I want to also mention that there are too many Ishmael wealth builders! They are the product of taking the promises of God into their own hands instead of waiting on God to show them how to receive the promise. Charles Oman addressed this perspective wonderfully in his book Secrets of Biblical Wealth Transfer when he stated: As with Sara the wife of Abraham, who had God s direction but lacked His timing and specific course, the first attempt at prosperity, THE PRESENT PROSPERITY MESSAGE, has produced many Ishmaels appealing to greed, self-righteousness, and doctrines of man directing God. It is rooted in the flesh with impatience and greed It s time to get my stuff from God! What we will soon see is a true Isaac in the form of a true prosperity message that speaks of great wealth transfer which ONLY involves head men, men who have nothing but God s purpose in his heart. 3 I hope that this manual ignites you to move in the marketplace and rise up as a Wise Master Builder of Wealth, positioned to receive a financial abundance to advance the Kingdom of God. I hope that you identify the importance of being called to be used by God to increase financially and of being willing to use your abundance for God s Kingdom or release it all to minister the

gospel, knowing that the same God can give you a one-hundred-fold return of all that you depart from to serve Him. If you are attending one of my seminars, workshops, or presentations, or simply reading this manual, know that it is not by chance. You have been divinely directed to obtain understanding and revelation about how God can pour His blessings upon your life so that you can be a vessel that He can use to expand the Kingdom of God NOW! You are being divinely positioned as a Wise Master Builder of Wealth.

PART I: OUR WEALTH FOUNDATION

Chapter 1: Placed in Prosperity The foundation of wealth building and prosperity, like many other biblical principles, began in the Garden of Eden. God s creative plan included giving man all the resources that he needed to not only survive, but to be fruitful and multiply. In Genesis 1:26 He said Let Us make man. This not only demonstrates the power of the triune God in man s creation, but it also shows how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit would be at work throughout the life of mankind. Man is then given dominion and authority over all that God created. What does this tell us? It tells us that every resource available for us was given to man by God. In addition, since man was created in God s image, in His likeness we have the ability to speak things into existence and to require those things that were created to submit to us by the power at work within us that was given to us by the Creator himself. God, in His divine design, not only gave man dominion and authority over that which He created, but He also placed man in a location of lucrative living conditions. We see this in Genesis Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Let s look at the place that God gave man when He placed man in the Garden of Eden: The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. 11 The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there. 13 The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. 14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates. 15 Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep. Genesis 2:8 15 It is integral that we understand Genesis 2:8 15 as Wise Master Builders of Wealth. It is important because a revelation of these scriptures provides the core foundational principles about God s mindset towards man. Historians have identified that the Garden of Eden is located in the area near Mesopotamia, also referred to as modern day Arabia or The Middle East. The Middle Eastern is still today one location in the world that is rich in natural resources. With this in mind, let s go back to Genesis 2 and carefully consider what God did for man. Genesis 2:8 states that God planted a garden eastward of Eden and PUT man there. The place that God placed man is very significant because He placed man in a place where he could prosper. If you read this closely, God placed man in a place where he had MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME! Each riverhead, or stream, lead to a location of abundant resources that was good. This demonstrates the need to have more than one source of income, and it reflects the fact that God will give us more than enough to supply our needs if we operate effectively in the place that He positions us. This is extremely important. Don t miss this point it s foundational for wealth building. What were those streams?? Well, they are the rivers that flow from the center of the tree of life. This has two-fold importance for us as Christians. Spiritually, these rivers are indicative of the Living Waters that will flow from us by the work of the Holy Spirit. Naturally, the rivers indicate having multiple resources for living and doing the will of God.

Genesis 2:10 15 provides us with insight about these multiple rivers in the Garden of Eden. The single river in the Garden of Eden split into FOUR riverheads. The first river was Pishon, a river that surrounded a land where there was not just gold, but good gold, bdellium and onyx all precious resources that were reserved for the wealthy in ancient times and still today. The second river was Gihon, which goes around the land of Cush. Cush was the land in the heart of Africa that was an Egyptian province where gold, ivory, and slaves (workers) were provided to Egypt. Cush was a land of great wealth that was given to man by God. The third river was Hiddekel, which flows east to Assyria. The Hiddekel River is also known as the Tigris River. Hiddekel is the place where Daniel had a vision of a man in linen whose thighs were adorned in pure gold, whose body was like beryl, whose eyes were like torches, and whose arms and feet were like brass. (See Daniel 10:4 7.) This is also the location where Daniel received a prophetic word and received answers to his request during prayer. All of this foundational knowledge is still integral for fulfilling divine purpose. The fourth and last river is the Euphrates, which runs across Arabia. These natural lands were giving to man and the one river in the garden split into these four locations of great natural resources. In like manner, God can take one gift, resource, or business you have and from that create multiple streams of income to bless you because one of your purposes is to have dominion over the earth, be fruitful and multiple. We must understand that when God spoke in Haggai 28 and stated, the silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts, this is exactly what He meant, and it has been the truth forever and ever. Our God is so awesome that he explained both the Garden of Eden in detail and the place He put man to the east of the Garden in great detail. God provided food, water, plants, water and a system for these things to be replenished without man s assistance to show that He has the ability to provide all that man needed to survive. So, why did God put man in the Garden? To ENJOY and KEEP it! God was showing man all He created for him and the wonderful lifestyle that he would permit him to have. Then, God said know that I have shown you that I ve given you all this let me put you in the place that I called you!! We will see this again later in this manual. Can you build on this foundational knowledge to build wealth? Can God place you in a place where you can be fruitful and multiply? Do you believe that God can take one thing that you have in your hand and multiply four times to give you multiple streams of income? YES, He can. If you do not believe that, then I ask you to stop reading right now and meditate on these scriptures so that God can give you a revelation of His plan and what He can do for you and through you. When you are ready, let s move forward and continue to understand the biblical foundation of blessings that we are to build from. In the following chapter, we will see that even when we have endured some challenging times, when we finally obtain our breakthrough, God will release us with wealth and riches.
