Ghorepani poon hill trek goes from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani, poonhill then to Tadapani and Jhinu then back to Nayaphul, from here we drive back to Pokhara. Details Itinerary : Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuvan international airport (1300m) Arriving at Tribhuuvan airport the capital of Nepal.(Kathmandu) you will be received up and bring to the hotel by our office (Core Trek) representative. After talking short rest in the hotel.you will be picked by our tourist guide for short sightseeing tour to kathmandu Durbar square (Basantapur). Back to the hotel after refreshment in the hotel, at night you will be served welcome dinner in traditional Nepali restaurant. Overnight at Hotel. (Included: Dinner) Day 2 : City tour and trek preparation (1300m) Kathmandu is multi culture city. Here different types of ethnic groups are living here. So you can see different types of cultures, norms and values. In the purpose of these our guide will take you to show different culture heritages. Swayambhunath- The Buddhist temple of swayambhu situated on the top of the hill,west of Kathmandu.This temple is known as the monkey temple because the large number of monkeys are there who guard the temple. Pashupatinath- Pashupatinath is about 5cm north-east of Kathmandu situated on the bank of Bagmati river. Pashupatinath is also known as the important place of pilgrimages for the followers of Hinduism. Boudhanath stupa - Our step forwards to Boudhanath stupa. Boudhanath stupa is the largest
n oldest stupa in Nepal.Boudhanath stupa is 7km east of Kathmandu.It is rich in Buddhist symbolism. Kathmandu Durbar square-kathmandu Durbar square is one of the important historic place. The main attraction of Durbar square are-hanuman Dhoka place, Museum, kumari house,kasthmandap and Kala Bhairav. Kathmandu Durbar has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site, back to the hotel. In the afternoon meet up with the trek groups to discuss on the trek. Overnight at Hotel. (Included: Breakfast) Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) 7/8 hours by luxury tourist Bus. We lead towards to Pokhara through a tourist bus at 7 am from Kantipath. It takes 6 to 7 hours to reach in Pokhara. On the way you can see scenery of rivers and hills. On the way the bus will stop 20mins for breakfast. After three hours again bus will stop 30mins for lunch.around 3pm we reach to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. (Included: Breakfast) Day 4: Pokhara Nayapul (1070m) Tikhedhunga (1540m) 6/7 hours trek. Today, we move to Tikhedhunga from pokhara. First we have to reach Nayapul through private vehicle within one and half hour we will arrive to Nayapul and trekking start from there. It is the most arduous day of the trek because we need to walk continues steep upward walking for 2 to 3 hours then a gradual upward walk. Again we have to walk up stair with paved stone.you can take stick if you are needed. Walking through the forest, crossing the steam and seeing the view of mountains and after pleasant walking around 5 hours we reached to Tikhedhunga. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Day 5: Tikhedhuga to Ghorepani (2860m) 6/7 hours trek. In the pleasant moning after talking breakfast at the countryside tea house we will start our adventurous trek for the day. It is the journey where our trail ascends to higher altitude. After walking for two and half hours of steep walking and the gradual upstairs walk we will reach to Ulleri village, a village of Magar community. From this point we will enjoy the journey within the spectacular sceneries of forests of oaks and rhododendrons. After walking for about 4 hours we will arrive at Ghorepani. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Day 6: Ghorepani- Poonhill (3200m) Tadapani (2630m) 7/8 hours trek. Ghorepani is the main point to go to Poonhill. Wake up early in the morning at 3:30 am to 4am. We will move to Poonhill to see sunrise. We need stick and torch light or flash light. Reaching at Poonhill you will feel wonderful seeing mountain views and attractive sursine scenery.after seeing sunrise, have a breakfast then start 5 to 6 hours trek to Tadapani. On the way of
Tadapani you can see rhododendron forests, pine trees. You can take in close up views of the Himalayan. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Day 7: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m) 3 / 4 hours. Today, we move to Ghandruk from Tadapani. After having breakfast, we are ready to move Ghanduk. On the way we have to pass through beautiful forests. After walking 4 to 5 hours, we reached to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the village of Gurung community. You can see their life style, culture,custome of Gurung caste. From Ghandruk, you can see pleasant views of Annapurna, fishtail and Gangapurna. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Day 8: Ghandruk Nayapul- Pokhara 5 /6 hours treks. Today, we will move downhill walk through forest and stone paved steps about 5 hours to Nayapul. From here we drive to Pokhara,it takes one and half hour to arrive in Pokhara.After energizing, walk around the lakeside. Overnight at Guesthouse. (Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Day 9: Exploration in Pokhara Pokhara is the metropolitan municipality and the second largest city of Nepal. In Pokhara there are lots of interesting places to observe. Today, we will proceed for sightseeing of Gupteshowar cave, Devis fall, Bharahi Temple, Mountain Museum. Short description of Gupteshowar cave- The Ghupteshowar cave is situated approximate 2km away from the Pokhara airport. The main attraction of this cave is a symbolic shivalinga is preserved in this cave. Devis fall- Devis fall is situated about 2 km from south- west of Pokhara valley. Locally Devis fall is known as Patale chhange. This is the well known waterfall of Pokhara. Water coming from Phewa Lake and disappear at the Devis fall. Bharahi Temple- The holy Bharahi temple is situated on the island of the Phewa Lake. To reach this temple you need to take boat. Bharahi is the shakti of Baraha, the boar incarnation of God Vishnu. Mountain Museum- Mountain Museum is located in Gharipatan,Pokhara. This museum is devoted to the mountains of Nepal, the mountaineers who climbed them and the people who
call them home.after sightseeing of these interesting places. Back to hotel take rest. Overnight at Hotel. (Included: Breakfast) Day 10 : Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus. 7/8 hours. From Pokhara after a pleasurable and refreshing tour back to Kathmandu by tourist bus or you have option to fly Kathmandu (25mins). And today, you have evening farewell Nepali dinner.
