We know many of you are busy cooking for the holidays, so if you have a little extra, it would be appreciated. There are pans and labels in the kitchen if you need them. For those of you who signed up as prayer partners for this ministry, we ask that you continue to pray for the people making the casseroles, those delivering the casseroles, and for the recipients of the meals. If you would like to become a part of our Mercy Meals Ministry, please contact the church office at 870.829.2961 or any member of the Missions Committee. Covered With Love Ministry FBC is beginning a new ministry to the dialysis unit in Helena. We will be taking them small blankets to be used while they are taking dialysis. The unit is now serving 64 patients. The nurses will be dispensing the blankets as the patients come in. We also plan to include some Christian reading material and a bookmark with the plan of salvation or some scriptures on it. We plan to embroider Covered With Love and First Baptist Church- Marvell on the corners of the blankets. If you have a machine, and would like to help us get this done, please let us know as soon as possible. Your talents could minister to many people in Phillips County. Others of you may want to be involved with this ministry by praying, by donating money for the blankets, or by delivering the blankets.
