Prophetic Friday January 20, 2017 Prophetic utterance by Pastor, Bishop Kenneth Pearman "Good Morning I just know that on this day God has great things still in store for us, and the great things shall come to pass because He s already given us an anointing and grace to walk it through. Yes your heart can be heavy, but in the book of Habakkuk 2:2 after he told Him I m going to stand upon my tower and watch, the next (2nd) verse says, And the LORD answered me, Write the vision and make it plain so he may run who reads it, for still the vision awaits. It s for an appointed time, and hastens until the end, and will not lie; for if it seems slow, wait for it, it will surely come to pass. I just want to tell someone today that, in this that we re dealing with, the Lord has blessed us that Bishop has spoken a mighty word in our lives. He has [written] the vision and he has made it plain that, even now, as he has transitioned from vision to victory and from victory into triumph, he s left a vision that we can follow and that we may pick it up and know have read it and run with it. Listen, it s not even about it being slow though it tarries, wait for it, because at the end, it shall speak and not lie, and it shall surely come to pass. It s about the fact that it s coming to pass now. It s waiting on you to give it the legs to continue to keep it going. One of the things it s very hard to do when we lose anyone in our lives a pastor, any leader, our family leader or loved one, is to be able to pick up and move on. What we re going through today, a celebration and giving honor and our tributes, in reference to the great apostle, the bishop Do you know he s an apostle? I would say, Yes, I ve been calling him bishop for so long So I talked to Bishop one day and said, I hope I m not offending you. I said, I just keep saying bishop Pearman, don t worry about that! And I just kept calling him Bishop, but I knew his office was apostle. One of the things that was very clear was that he wanted to make sure that he made the vision as clear as possible that all who came in contact with that vision, and that fit their lives, would be able to pick up and reading and listening with a sound ear, would be able to carry it forth. So as we lose people in our lives, as they transition from earth to glory, one of the issues that we may have sometime is how do we continue to go on? In order for the vision to continue to live, New Birth International Prayer Warriors, we ve got to be able to dry our eyes. I don t know about you, but I know if I cry too much, my nose gets stopped up; my ears get clogged; I have a
headache; I have blurred vision. For my ears crying and the water, you know your eyes get blurred vision and then you can t properly do anything because all of these things are taking place! I do believe that all of us have to take time to go and cry, and we go through a mourning period in our lives, but in between the mourning period, life doesn t stop. Oh, my God! It continues to go on. The vision doesn t stop. The seed that was planted doesn t stop growing; it s yet growing through the dirt; it s yet coming up that it may be able to fulfill the things that God has called us to do. I call it seed in our life that Bishop has spoken to us. So we have to find a way in between our tears to blow our nose, rest ourselves, and dry our eyes for a moment, so we can see what God What do You need for us to do now to continue the vision? To continue to walk this vision out that it will not die? That it will live; that the legacy will stand. So it takes us to give it time to say, Okay, God, while I m crying and you hear me say this all the time don t let my tears outweigh my praise, because if I begin to praise You in the midst of my tear drops, I get clarity. I begin to see things a little bit clearer. I can recall the things that God has spoken through the Bishop to the church, to the Prayer Call, to the world. He s spoken words out into a world: people around the world have had an impact from his words. Then he spoke out of the vision that God had given him to reach people, and we have been reached! We, all of us have been reached! Something took place: it was that seed, and it began to grow. As we were lifting -- those of us who were listening and those who were paying attention we were listening to the vision that he had, and now it s time to take what we heard, take what we read, take what we sat up under and begin to run with it! Run with it! Run with it! Continue to give it legs to move. Continue to give it voice to be heard [heavenly language uttered]. Continue to be able to speak it and to produce it, because it was from God! Oh, he said it was going to be from vision to victory. Why? Because vision gives life. Vision causes you to have victory. Vision causes us to have hope. He brought hope into the lives of all of us. The word he spoke for 2017: From Vision to Victory was giving people hope! You cannot have victory unless you understand the vision, and when you understand the vision, you are running with what you know that has given you the hope to be able to stand all over again. Ah! I am about to I m lifting my hands I want to shout and holler, but I m going to stay calm, because one of the things that is very important is that as God has had many on
this Line today many of you on the Line today he spoke words of hope into your life that you may also transfer that same anointing [heavenly language uttered] even greater than that that had fallen upon you! Get out the vision that God has given you to the people of your congregation, or that you ve come in contact with that they too may have hope. He spoke life into us that our babies in our wombs would leap that seemed to be dead; the dead dreams had to come alive! So yes, I m bringing back some things to remind you that as we re going through this period of mourning as we are coming to the closing of one phase and yet have another to walk out, we must remember that the vision that God has given has cast/been cast into our lives so that we may walk it out. Some of you have been in bed because you really don t know what to do, and I understand that. Some of us have been scratching our head; it s like one minute we re laughing and another minute we re crying some things, you re just functioning I know, I m lifting my hands because you re just going through the functioning spirit. You know you ve got everything: you go to work, you come home, you do all these things, but you re still somewhat in a daze. But we have to wake up out of that daze! We have to pull ourselves up out of that depression, and we have to say, Okay, God, I have people that are yet waiting for me, and You still have use for me. I remember when Bishop had lost his mom she had [gone] to be with the Lord and there was something that had happened to him: he was like, Wow! But I ve got to go on, Pearman people are waiting on me. I ve still got to lead [this/his?] people, at the same time having a void in my heart. Yes, that happens; it s a void, and I don t people say, It ll get better, don t worry about it and No, it won t always get better, but you learn how to live with it. God graces us to live with it. Sometimes, it s an annoying pain that stays with us, but we learn how to live with that and continue to function and move pass it and grow. For some of you who have experienced this, you know what I m saying: some days you can talk about your brother or your sister, your friend who has transitioned into glory, and you can laugh about it and it s fine; then one day you can wake up crying as though they had just passed that very moment. But in the midst of it, it s a part of life s process. As we go through this, I just want you to remember that the vision that God has used Bishop Long to cast, to believe in you and many of us on this Line, he saw your gift and he pulled on that gift until you could become who you are today. And yes, the way you can get back, and to prove to the enemy that you got it, is to take the vision, run with it, re-evaluate it, look and see
what happened, and then be able to say, God, I thank You that I have a foundation to stand on, and I m able to move forward and not backward. Yes, because after Wednesday, it s a new journey. It s a new journey, and how you handle this new journey and the legacy of this new journey depicts how much victory we shall have. I want you to remember what I said, you have to acknowledge what you re going through. You have to acknowledge Yes, you re going to admit your pastor, your teacher, your prophet, your bishop and for their family, her husband, their father, their brother, their nephew, their cousin all of these things we have to acknowledge because it s a part of what is really happening. After the celebration of jumping and shouting and praising, there s another day that comes to make you feel like I don t know what I m going to do. But in this case we know what we re going to do; we re going to rise up and ask God today for the strength to rise up to continue to march and continue to be in sync to carry out the vision. To be able to stand in place ah! with all that God has taught us from the great vision of the Bishop, and to be able to move forward and not remain stuck, because there are people that need God s help He has placed so much in us that He has proven to us by his [Bishop s] walk through the valleys of the shadows of death that he didn t fear any evil. Through sickness and his pain, he triumphantly walked out on that pulpit and spoke LIFE into the body of God [Christ] Yea, glory to God! I know you re being quickened. He proved to us that we can do it; that in spite of what you re dealing with and facing, there is something that God has for us to do, and we re held accountable to do it. And he proved to us that he did it because he did it before our eyes. He came and preached the Word; he taught it. He prayed constantly for the people of God. He was concerned about the membership. He was concerned about the congregation. He was concerned about his leaders. He was concerned about the pastors. So therefore, with that vision, with that power, in between all that we deal with we have to rise up, and stand, and run with that vision! Oh, I lift my hands and worship Him today! [Because] God is a great God and He s the only One that will strengthen us to make it through this, and the days that yet have to come. I encourage every leader, every pastor: I speak into your life that God will continue to heal you and move you forward, and when your heart is overwhelmed that you go to the Rock that is higher than yourself, and that Rock is JESUS. And as you call upon the Name of the Lord, He will strengthen you.
As you look back over your life and think some things over, he said, When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all He s done for me, one of the things that is given to the people that you can say, I thank God for a man that spoke into my life and because he s spoken into my life, my soul says, HALLELUJAH! Thank You, Jesus, for sending him our way that he helped to save us. That s what I want to say to you, and I want to encourage you with that. I want you to be ever, ever, ever strengthened, and I know that God is moving in your life right now Yes, God is real! [joyous laughter] Yes, God is real, for I can feel Him today. His love for me (I won t go like that; he d say, Pearman, don t sing! I m under contract.) Anyway, I believe God for all of us on this Line that we have the victory, as we have heard the vision! For all the leaders at New Birth, it s for us to stand together; and us means those of us that may not be in leadership in New Birth, but we are leaders in the house of God and we ve come into the voice of your leader, and to pray for you that you stand. So, let us pray: Lord, I do thank You today that You are moving by Your power; that You are quickening someone today who might have just stayed still and not moved at all, but because they are hearing a word that says I have to arise because there are people waiting on me right in my household, I can t die now. I have to continue to go on because the vision is leading me to victory! And God, because You [have] brought us into this place not such a good place at times sometimes we look and say, Lord, what s next? But we want to know when we say, What s next, God? because it s You, what do You have set up for us next that You re going to protect us from and You re going to give us the strength to overcome? We know when we laid down last night, we laid down in victory. We know that when we woke up, we woke up in victory, and when we slept, we slept in victory, because no matter how long or how short it was, it had victory attached to it. When we woke up, we woke up in victory, and when we started, we started in victory. For we know we have the victory, God we know we have these things and we might not always feel like it it might not always seem like it, but because we know within our heart that You re the God that watched over us we know within our heart that You re the God that strengthens us we know within our heart that You read every tear drop, we know within our heart that we cannot just stand still, but we need to mark time while we re standing still stay in sync with the marching! HALLELUJAH! We understand that You are blessing us to move forward and not backward, and when we see and think on all that You have done we look at the life of Bishop Eddie L. Long, we thank You
for the strength that You ve shown us through his walk in good, bad, and indifferent things. He has proven to us what real leadership is about and how much could be on one man s shoulder, but yet he stood to bring forth a word of hope, of cheer, of deliverance, of peace, and to loose someone from bondage, and set the captive free. Thank You, Lord Jesus, that You are blessing his family right now. Bless his brothers; strengthen them for the journey. Bless his wife and his children, his family extended. Bless the New Birth family and the leadership of New Birth; help them to be able to stand like never before. And God, I pray for the congregation that they will come together and say, We will stand to continue to push the vision that has been placed within us, as we continue to move from vision to victory. Lord, because of this we celebrate Bishop Long s life. We celebrate it not just in victory but for triumph; he s been triumphant! He s been called into a place and You came to rescue him. Thank You, Lord Jesus, as You ve done this as You ve done this we will carry out what You ve given us to do, to be a strength to one another, to cause others to know that the same God that blessed us, who led Bishop Eddie L. Long, will do even greater for them! So every sickness on this Line I take authority over it right now, in the Name of Jesus, and I command it to loose the body, loose the mind, loose the spirits and the hearts! In the Name of Jesus, I take authority right now [over] that spirit that would try to come and overtake them in grieving to a point that they can t find their way. I bind that spirit, and send it back to the pits of Hell, and I command there be a spirit of rejoicing in the midst of tears! And I thank You, O God, as their heads have been heavy hung down that You strengthen them to lift up their heads, and strengthen their hearts right now, in the Name of Jesus. For yet there is work to do! While we re in between tears, while we re in between heaviness, while we re in between trying to pull ourselves together, we know the way that we must go. You will order our footsteps, and You will anoint our hands to produce the things You ve called us to do, and You will give us clarity of mind and speech, and we will be able to do what You called and speak what You ve given us, and we will declare and decree ah! the works of a marvelous God! And we will glorify You! [heavenly language uttered] because You are the Head of our lives, the Author and Finisher of our faith, our Beginning and our Ending, our Everlasting to everlasting! So God, I pray for every pastor on this Line; those who are spiritual sons who grieve their father. Today, God, You give them strength, dry their eyes at the appropriate time that they may carry out their father s wishes that were spoken into their eyes. The daughters ah!
that You would dry their eyes at the appropriate time that they may carry out the wishes and the Word that was spoken in their lives. This we say, God, in the matchless Name of Jesus. Amen. Amen, and Amen again. Final Comments: I ve got to say this, Elder Carla Stokes: many think that because he s gone, you re gone. That would not be God. He s given you something so that you can carry it out. It s just like when we lose our parent sometimes we talk about this we want to die with them but we can t go, because we have children and nephews and nieces that are going to need us. Everything those parents put within us that was good, they re depending on us to carry it out, so they can pass it on to the next generation, and the generation after that. It doesn t make it easy but let s you know you have a job to do. I thank you, Elder Carla Stokes, and I thank the entire International Prayer Call Ministry, and those that work behind the scene. Our lives will never be the same, and it s a void that cannot be filled unless God does it. But the most important thing is that we have the vision before us that we re able to run it run with it because we heard it! We read it, and it s been spoken in our lives to keep going. Thank you, Elder Carla Stokes." ******* Thank you, Bishop Kenneth Pearman. Thank you for releasing the Word of the Lord over us. We receive it in Jesus Name.
