Forming Elisha s Army Pt. 5 Seeking, Receiving, Obeying and Implementing the Prophetic Word in Yisrael. By The RAMYK 7-29-5992 SC Melechim Bet-2 nd Kings Chapter 5-Now Naaman, captain of the armies of the melech of Aram, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because through him vuvh had given deliverance to Aram: he was also a mighty man and brave, but he was a leper. Namman in Hebrew means agreeable, pleasant. He was agreeable to seek YHWH about his healing. He sought the pleasant prophetic word with which and by which he could come into agreement! What area in your life is a recurring leprosy? A behavior and a pattern that keeps sticking to you no matter how hard you try and get rid of the bondage? Tobacco, cigarettes, porno, laziness, lying, double mindedness, being attracted to evil or ungodly people, lack of money, health? Discuss? We have the potential to be elohim Kings and priests Rev 1:6 but often act like lepers. 2 And the Arameans had gone out on raids, and had taken away captive from the land of Yisrael a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife. Possibly a plural relationship as in those societies captive women were given to their husbands as lovers, or sister wives-handmaidens. Our Israelite mothers Bilah and Zelpah demonstrate that. 3 And she said to her mistress, I wish before Elohim that my master was with the navi that is in Shomron! For he would heal him of his leprosy. Even the heathen know that healing from bondages and sin and wrong thinking/choices/actions comes not through Bible study alone, or mental ascent to the Word, but by seeking a true prophet and then obeying his word to the TEE. Notice she did not want Namman in the school of the prophets in some sort of religious merry-go-round, but in and under the direct words flowing from Yahuwah in season. Healing and guidance in life is found in the prophetic real time word, given in season. Real time words come from the living Ruach. Recorded words form HIS STORY! Only in and under Elisha s army, can healing be found away from all Aramean evils and rivers. 4 And one went in, and told his master, saying, This is what the maid said that is of the land of Yisrael. 5 And the melech of Aram said, Go enter, and I will send a letter to the melech of Yisrael. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

6 And he brought the letter to the melech of Yisrael, saying, Now when this letter has come to you, see, I have sent Naaman my eved to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy. Just like us. Rather than seeking the prophetic word and OBEYING it to the letter, we are often misguided and fearful. We rather get a religious leading that doesn t challenge us, or a familiar reading that can be easily processed. Prophetic words on the other hand challenge us and more importantly though difficult to process, will always lead us into Yahuwah s perfect will for our lives with a smooth landing after a rough take off. Maybe one reason you re not getting, or entering His will is you are settling for easy explanations and quick fixes, and perhaps human likes and dislikes, rather than the real time fresh and personally liberating prophetic words. Surely Yahshua does nothing except He first reveals His will to His servants the true prophets. Jeremiah 25:4, Daniel 9:10, Amos 3:3 and 3:7. The secrets of YHWH for your life are found with His true prophets not his monks, or other laity. Prophetic words are given by those who hold the prophetic office. The endowment of the gift determines if one holds that office. 7 And it came to pass, when the melech of Yisrael had read the letter, that he tore his clothes, and said, Am I Elohim, to kill and to make alive, that this man does send to me to heal a man of his leprosy? Therefore consider, I ask you, and see how he seeks to start a quarrel against me. Going to the wrong source for direction and healing is idolatry! Going to an elohim that is not from YHWH elohim will continue to confuse you and lead you astray. Sadly many continue to do this. 8 And it was so, when Elisha the man of Elohim had heard that the melech of Yisrael had torn his clothes that he sent to the melech, saying, Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a navi in Yisrael. A true prophet of Elohim knows he is a true prophet and tells the truth in hope and love regardless of the rejection, or social outcast status it may bring. Your healing is with the prophetic word, not the convenient, or logical word or socially acceptable word. A true prophet has a good sense of their calling and does not walk around with an identity crisis. 9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his mirkavah, and stood at the door of the bayit of Elisha. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Yarden River seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean. Don t be offended in the manner a prophetic word is given. It may not be easy and you may never know from behind what door the prophets come from. It will catch you off guard most times and its power is in the words not the human frailties of the prophet himself. Don t be offended when the prophetic word comes as it s usually NOT what you were expecting out of life!!!! Most likely if it s a truly prophetic word it s not necessary that you agree with it, or that you may find it offensive or even impersonal, or coming

from somewhere other than from your rabbi or pastor, which is part of your comfort zone. The prophetic word is very specific not general. THE YARDEN RIVER IS THE PLACE AND WAHSING 7 TIMES IS THE MEANS. How about 6 times? How about my local comfy close by easy river? NO! How about finding a husband or wife? My choice right? NO! 11 But Naaman was angry, and went away, and said, See, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the Name of vuvh his Elohim, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy. Most people perceive the prophetic word as some kind of magic wand, or healing wand. No. It usually requires action in order to be implemented for the healing to come, or the power to be released. It never is given or delivered in just the right way as is often expected. Most people get angry when the prophetic word, as it exposes their wrong ways of living, or choosing or behaving, rather than being grateful that Yahhuwah is kind enough to lead them in the right direction. Most believers are not mature enough to submit to the prophetic word. Most at some point will let fear and doubt set it. That s why it s best to record the prophetic word for ongoing strength and consultation. Many times we reject the messenger and that stops Yahuwah s flow and favor in our lives and often can kill it. YHWH can have great things planned for you from this day forward, but if you personally refuse to obey the prophetic word it will values little. Do not belittle the prophetic word by trying to break it down to human reason and logic which is highly flawed and emotional. 12 Are not Avana and Pharpar, rivers of Dameshek, better than all the mayim of Yisrael? May I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. Pharpar means the fruit of Persia/Syria or bad fruit. Wrong rivers leading to wrong and false healing, or demonic counterfeits. Beware of demonic counterfeits to the true prophetic direction! THE YARDEN RIVER IS THE PLACE OF HEALING AND WAHSING 7 TIMES IS THE ROADMAP TOP HEALING AND NEW LIFE. How about 6 times? How about my local river? NO! Discuss Namman s attitude, just like most of ours when CONFRONTED with a true and tried chosen direction. We still insist that our own choices and direction will achieve the same kingdom and personal results. We go away mad that YHWH has had the audacity to make the correct and personal Israelite river choice for us. River is symbolic of healing and the unending flow of hope and a new start in life. Guard your heart both during and after the prophetic word. 13 And his avadim came near, and spoke to him, and said, My abba, if the navi had told you do some great matter, should you not have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, Wash, and be clean?

Do you want to be washed and clean from your past, or parts of it? Wise counsel indeed. Even those who do not have the prophetic gift but are believers in personal prophecy must encourage their brothers and sisters to not be mad, or upset, but to repent and embrace the glorious words given by a true prophet. Namman was about to also join Elisha s army. 14 Then he went down, and dipped himself seven times in the Yarden River, according to the saying of the man of Elohim: and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. Himself symbolizes lack of religious oversight! This is the key! HE OBEYED! TO THE TEE. TO THE LETTER! IN EVERY DEATIL! THE SAYING OF THE PROPHET BROUGHT HEALING LIKE CHILD S FLESH AND GRANTED HIM A NEW BEGINNING AND A CLEAN START. Today we see the waters of mikvah, or tevilah, as symbolic of a new life, new name and washing of the mind, flesh and heart by the prophetic rhema-personal words chosen just for you!! How many have had Yahuwah s future at their fingertips and yet backslid into their own habits? Too many. Will you be one of them? 15 And he returned to the man of Elohim, with all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, See, now I know that there is no Elohim in all the earth, but in Yisrael: now therefore, I beg you, take a blessing from your eved. 16 But he said, As vuvh lives, before whom I stand, I will receive nothing. And he urged him to take it; but he refused. The true prophet s true joy is found not in tithe money, or remuneration but in the joy of the receiver s obedience and the resulting kingdom fruit that it always and most surely brings, for true and total obedience, which is far BETTER for you than mere religious sacrifice. 17 And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I beg you, be given to your eved two mule loads of earth? For your eved will from now on offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice to any other elohim, but to vuvh. 18 In this thing vuvh pardon your eved, that when my master the melech goes into the bayit of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow myself in the bayit of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the bayit of Rimmon, let vuvh pardon your eved in this thing. Oops. Namman received his healing by full compliance and is taking earth to build YHWH an altar as Torah forbids grove altars, or cut stone altars. He is trying to give Yah praise, but is also making excuses to already COMPROMISE his future worship and obedience to YHWH. When the prophetic word is received it must be obeyed not just until the healing, or blessing comes. NO! It must change your way of thinking and as a result your very life and future, as no man or woman putting his hand to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of YHWH. NO ONE HAS YOUR BEST INTERESTS AT HEART AS DOES YHWH! Partial compliance and compromise like Namman with the worship of YHWH in the house of a pagan Aramean deity is compromise, as he got what he came for. There s the danger. After receiving the prophetic word do not leave the devil any open doors by which he can return to torment you and enslave

you by fear, even after you got what you came for; the goodness and best from Yahuwah! That s why even after receiving the blessed healing of the prophetic word, you must continue in that word to truly be His disciple and to be delivered indeed. He that endures to the end without compromise based on the conviction and hope of the prophetic word will be delivered. Matthew 10:22. 19 And he said to him, Go in shalom. So he departed from him a little distance. Elisha s job was done and he dismissed Namman in shalom. The prophet s job is not to convince, or make sure you implement the prophetic words. That s YOUR JOB. His job is solely to be a good and faithful messenger, making sure the word is given with the preciseness and the detail in which it was given and intended. 20 But Gechazi, the eved of Elisha the man of Elohim, said, See, my master has spared Naaman this Aramean, in not receiving from his hands that which he brought: but, as vuvh lives, I will run after him, and take something from him. See the contrast between a true prophet and a potential true prophet. Reward and APPROVAL from men, along with fear, must be removed from the equation if a man is to properly represent YHWH. This cannot be stressed enough! 21 So Gechazi pursued after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he got down from the mirkavah to meet him, and said, Is all well? Both Namman and Gechazi are lost without the Ruach leading of the prophetic word. Sadly friends, Gechazi is a type of you and me when we withdraw from the presence of the prophetic word. The reward for obeying the prophetic word is the act of obedience itself and the fruit of that obedience not any material gain. See Isaiah 1:19-20. 22 And he said, All is well. My master has sent me, saying, See, just now there have come to me from Mount Efrayim two young men from the sons of the neviim: give them, I ask you, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments. People with impure motives will always lie to gain what they want. The prophetic word contains no lie, as Yahuwah is neither a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent. The name Gehazi means valley of vision. Gehazi was in a depth of sin and duplicity and had a vision for material gain and not kingdom healing! He was more concerned with Namman s money, rather than Naaman s future. A true prophetic word is all about your future, not your gold or silver! 23 And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his avadim; and they bore them before him.

24 And when he came to a secret place, he took them from their hand, and stored them in the bayit: and he let the men go, and they departed. 25 But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said to him, Where are you coming from Gechazi? And he said, Your eved went nowhere. Lies! 26 And he said to him, Did not my lev go with you, when the man turned again from his mirkavah to meet you? Is it a time to receive silver, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and men avadim, and female avadim? No! When the prophetic word is given in season it is not a time for material focus, but the focus is on the direction, guidance and leadership of the Ruach HaKodesh for the rest of your granted days on the earth. Be thankful that the word was given and that thanksgiving is expressed in full compliance always expecting a prophetic word to be challenging and maybe often upsetting!! Nonetheless it is not about all these things like garments, and olive yards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and men avadim, and female avadim. It is about YOU and His care for YOU! Will you receive and apply it, or look back and misapply it for selfish reasons, or reasons to protect your own neatly set up world and life structure? Close-27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave to you, and to your zera le-olam-va-ed. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow. The words you never want to hear. If and when we don t embrace the prophetic word, or mistreat and misapply it, or look to escape from it, we only have one other future to look forward to. A life of leprosy, symbolic of incurable disobedience and selfishness and the sickness and failures that could have been removed, will now be transferred to us and worse quite possibly our children. YES THE FEAR OF YHWH IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM. NOT FEAR OF HIS WAYS, OR WORDS. FEAR OF DISOBEYING HIM! The reception and compliance to the prophetic word is not only the only way for true born again Israelite believers to be liberated, an experience deliverance, but it s the only true way to insure that our children and grandchildren do not return to, or are not being clung to by the leprosy of Namman! Trust fully and obey fully, that s the way for a new freedom, not just for you from your past, but for your children and for future generations of your seed yet unborn. For even the prophets of Israel achieved their own trusted status by obeying the prophetic word given to them at some point and time in the past. Selah!!!
