January 2015 Dear Friend, This letter is going to be different than previous letters you ve received from Dave Roberson Ministries because, one, Dave has asked us, his staff, to write this letter, and, two, all of us who are part of doing this message have come to a place of accountability in using the keys that have been taught through the years. These keys are praying in tongues, fasting, meditating on/assimilating the Word, confessing the Word, spending time in praise and worship, waiting on the Lord for His instructions, and co-laboring with the Holy Spirit in obedience to what He says basically maintaining a stable walk with the Lord no matter what is happening around or within us. We were blessed last year to receive many encouraging words of prophecy from the Lord. We call these words The Lord s Present-Day Speaking because each one lines up with the truths and principles found in the Bible but speaks the Lord s mind for the present hour and current situations in the Body of Christ. They are instructions preparing us for what is to come and encouragements in the victories and battles we face, just as First Corinthians 14:3 says: But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. As we spent time reviewing the words of prophecy from 2014, we began to see patterns and themes that were not just specific to last year but were foundational words for what we believe God wants to do in and through His Church this year. On December 29, 2013, we received a prophecy that said 2014 was going to be the year of selling out to God of us giving our all to Him through love and obedience like never before. Throughout the year, we set our heart towards this directive, making our fellowship with the Lord a priority and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us through necessary times of mortification and significant changes in our walk with Him. Even though this specific instruction was given regarding 2014, please know that it is not too late to start or to continue the ongoing process of selling out to God. In harmony with the admonition to sell out to God, we received instructions several times throughout last year to be laser focused. Here is one such prophecy:
I have sent My Spirit to drive double-mindedness away from the midst of you. You shall be a people laser focused, where My will flows through you as purely and clearly as the sunshine through a clear glass window to bring light to a dark world and set the captives free. This is a picture of revival. This is what we are heading towards and what Dave and many others in the Body have daily laid down their lives for through many hours of doing the message and teaching others how to do the same. It is a revival that lasts; a revival in which God can work astounding miracles and healings so that even the hardest-hearted sinner will have to say, There is a God! You are an important part of this revival because the Lord is not just speaking to and about Tulsa, Oklahoma. Wherever people are who have made themselves willing and obedient to His voice will be used by Him, because of His equipping in their life. And we believe that time is soon. Please read what the Lord shared with us on October 8, 2014: Bow, yield to the Teacher, for I am taking you far higher than you have walked before. This is the season of selling out. Flesh things, this year, are going upon the altar that My fire shall consume quicker than you ever dreamed possible. This is that year. The following year is the year of power, says the Lord. We are now in that following year, and this is the year of power. If you haven t already done so, please begin to set aside time daily to spend with the Holy Spirit and let Him speak to you and minister the mind of the Lord to you. Your fellowship with Him brings Him so much joy and is the cornerstone on which every area of your life is built. Not one moment is wasted in obedience to His Spirit or in His Presence, for He always has fresh manna to give. For 2015, the Lord has given us a foundational word of direction, which is titled A New Day Is Dawning. Along with this prophecy, we have also included some highlights of the words we received last year in the areas of Instruction, Maturity and Accountability, Hope and Encouragement, and the Lord s Pleasure in His children. We encourage you to read and study these words, not just once, but over and over until they become part of your foundation and walk of obedience, something you can point to in the midst of battle and victory this year and those to come. Present-Day Speaking Foundational Word for 2015 A New Day Is Dawning Continue to scan the horizon with the eyes of your spirit, for you are rapidly approaching a new day where the light you walk in shall be so bright that what you have walked in up until now shall seem as darkness. You have now learned how to reach through the veil and appropriate those things from the spiritual realm to appropriate those things which are truly your inheritance. The things which are above, you have set your affection upon, and now they have become your treasure. And as you gather them unto yourself, there is a reordering within you, a new understanding of your identity, a new understanding of who you are that shall release the moving of the Father s Spirit to reorder all things according to His will. Continue, continue to yield yourself unto Me, says the Spirit of Grace. You are appropriating now. As you mature by those appropriations, the eyes of your understanding are being opened more clearly and more clearly to the light of My counsel as I bring the mind of Christ to you on a day-by-day, moment-by-moment basis. All that you have seen in your spirit as being possible, all of those things are possible, says the Lord. Not only are they possible, but they have been the plan of the Father all along. But as the Firstborn said, the way is narrow into those things. The way into those things is narrow indeed, and few there be that find it. But you have found it. I am pleased that you continue to come and sit in the classrooms of My training that I may bring your walk into the light and onto the path that He has ordered for you. Be encouraged. Let nothing dissuade you. Let nothing divert you. Let nothing discourage you. Continue to be ruthless in the giving of your time in My classrooms. I say again to you, there are no limits to the dominion I will bring to your spirit that the Father may be served by the life of Christ within you. Present-Day Speaking Foundational Words From 2014 I am pleased. I am pleased. Think not that I am [not] pleased with your walk to this point. Each and every one of you has put your hand into Mine and [has] let Me bring you this far, but now, I am looking ahead. He is pleased with you. Do not let the enemy tell you otherwise. Even if there are areas of your life right at this moment where you are not in complete obedience and you know it, but you are still doing those things, maybe not perfectly, maybe haltingly, stumblingly, hesitantly but something in you just won t give up. He has not brought us this far to abandon us now. We are going into revival.
My pleasure abounds at what I see in your heart and in your understanding. Your choices have pleased Me. Rest assured; you are rapidly approaching days in Me of truly great and mighty things. These days will come quickly, though that is not how it has seemed, and you will say, How hard it seemed then, but I now see, it was not as hard as it seemed. Live in Me. I am your Reality. Don t be discouraged. Don t be disheartened. Don t listen to failure or defeat, because it is not true. Keep moving forward, because in you is something precious that is being built that you carry with you everywhere you go. Walk with Me. Stay with Me and be at peace, and you will see that, in the end, I was right and everything else was wrong every feeling, every circumstance. You will see that I cannot lie. And the promises that I have made to you, the dreams that I gave to you will come to pass if you walk with Me. Do not lose hope. Because the battle was long, many gave up, but I haven t, says the Lord, and I will have My revival. Just humble yourself and trust to hear My voice and you will be safe through any attack that you go through. Grab that thought and put it to death. You are not behind. You never were behind. You are with Me. You are not behind, says the Lord. Rejoice at this season that you have come to a new place of consecration. At this point, the flesh must be crucified, and I will lead you into the fullness of all that I have called you to do. The harvest shall be so great. You shall rejoice in that day, though your flesh does not rejoice now. I am pleased, says the Lord, and you shall be too when you see the fruit. What I desire is that you remain at the feet of My Teacher. I will purge you trust Me that I know what I am doing. Trust Me that even you can change. Bow, yield to the Teacher, for I am taking you far higher than you have walked before. This is the season of selling out. Flesh things, this year, are going upon the altar that My fire shall consume quicker than you ever dreamed possible. This is that year. The following year [2015] is the year of power, says the Lord. Let s not waste another day, another moment of acting like we are not in Him when we already are. You are not your struggles. No matter how big or small they are you are not your struggles. You are His child. I have sent My Spirit to drive double-mindedness away from the midst of you. You shall be a people laser focused, where My will flows through you as purely and clearly as the sunshine through a clear glass window to bring light to a dark world and set the captives free. No double-mindedness. Do not trust your emotions. They are not a reflection of truth. Trust My Word and what I have spoken to you. Do not give your emotions the right to tell you who you are or where you are going. Trust My voice and My Word. -2-
Make that determination at all costs, at all costs, you will follow Me into your calling that you are willing to not let offense or hurt or wounds or lack, persecution or tribulation or nakedness or peril or the sword stop you from believing in Me and believing that I believe in you enough to lead your steps. This is what I am asking of you today. Intensity is required to turn glimpses into reality. This is your laser focus as you leave all behind and sell out to Me. We are leaving your past behind, the past way of thinking, as you learn more about living in Me. Necessity live by necessity do what is necessary, but do it in Me. Your family, your friends, your job, your schooling the necessities of life are part of your equipping and training you will be learning a new focus in Me in these things. They are an essential part of your equipping, and I am increasing My life in you in these things. Laser focus on Me in your daily living, and set aside time for just you and Me where I can draw you into Me and bring change upon change and equipping. Be filled. Be filled with Me. I am your Reality, and as you see more and more of Me, you see more and more of your reality. Your life in Me is your reality in all things. My words are life and they are truth, and they are becoming a living part of you. Take My truth and feed upon it until it becomes a part of you, until My words are reality to you. We re coming to that time now, even things that are not sin, even things that are okay, if you are His disciple and He says walk away from them [your] flesh screaming all the way you walk away from it, or you are not His disciple. This is a warning really: If we are going to walk in the power of revival, I am telling you, people are going to die. I am telling you, you cannot that [revival] power cuts both ways you cannot walk in unforgiveness and walk in that level of power. It is your flesh and He expects you to overcome it every day. The times of letting other people be responsible for your walk are coming to a finish. God is taking His children who will listen to a stronger relationship, and He is asking you today: Will you become a minister of His Presence to help sweep other people into His Presence? For I have strength, so much strength, says the Lord, so much strength that I don t need yours. So rest have peace to know that whatever fight the enemy puts on you, whatever fight your flesh puts on you, you have all the strength you need and more through Me to have victory. There will never be, says the Lord, there will never be a time that you don t have enough. -3-
Where we are going as a church, understand that we are needed to walk in unity corporately to help the lambs and babies as they come in, not just to protect them but to encourage them and love on them and to show them, Hey? What are you down for? Let me show you how you get rid of those blues. So this is an assignment today for you. You are the spark. There are arising now those weaned from the breast, those whose eyes are turned toward Heaven more than they are toward earth, whose trust is in My hand and not in what they see, who will obey My voice and step out onto the waters even at night in the raging wind and fear not with every step, for they trust the voice of the Lord their God. They shall fuel the combines of revival that shall harvest in these last days, says the Spirit of the Lord. Come up higher. Come up higher. Look not to the world. Look not to your flesh. Look not to that which is yours but look to that which is Mine. The plans I have for you are so great. Continue to abide in Me, surrender daily to My path for you, and together, we will soar into the future I have always planned for you. Apply My Word to each and every circumstance. My Word contains life and the power to break the power of the enemy and to renew your carnal mind to be in full and complete agreement with your spirit. When you have trained and disciplined your mind to let My Spirit reign and rule as you become obedient to daily heed the instruction I give, then I can accomplish My will through you. There is a wave of God coming. I don t know how to describe it, but it is like a tsunami it is coming. We are going to be right in the middle of this thing. There is a tsunami of God s power which is the same as saying God s love coming, and it is going to harvest this earth. It is going to harvest in Jesus Name. -4-
