The purchaser of this equipment accepts responsibility to inform other users of its experimental nature and require consent and waiver forms. 2.1 Experimental Device This apparatus is to be considered an EXPERIMENTAL DEVICE. No claims are made for its usefulness or efficacy for any medical conditions. The user should be aware that the administration of the Device is an experimental procedure. Any benefits attributed to the device and its administration is controversial and not scientifically proven. The physics of the device and its effects, if any, are not fully known at the present time. It is not scientifically established that the procedure has any effect, positive or negative. 2.2 Medical Conditions This apparatus is not to be used as a replacement for medical treatment. It is up to the individual to determine their own needs, and if a serious medical condition exists, the user is referred to qualified medical personnel for diagnosis and treatment. It is the opinion of the manufacturer that the use of with this device should be considered an adjunct to traditional medical treatment in the same fashion as dietary supplements. 2.3 Energy Work It is believed by many that any affects that may be experienced with this device are a result of alterations in the body s electromagnetic or energy field. Clairvoyant observers have reported seeing changes in the aura that appear to be soothing and aligning the field. Any theories regarding this type of explanation are bound to be controversial, since mainstream science denies that it exists. This does not render these concepts useless. 3 Installation 3.1 Unpacking Please save the containers for later use to prevent damage to the apparatus, especially the glass bulbs, during moving and storage. You should receive a glass bulb (more than one if special ordered), a power cord, the base unit and this manual. It is generally best to leave the bulb in its shipping container when not installed in the base unit. This will help prevent breaking it. The glass should always be handled with care. It is no more fragile than a typical fluorescent light bulb, but considerably more expensive to replace. 3.2 Setup Choose a location to set up the SEAD unit that provides the following: A grounded three prong power outlet A table or other stable surface to place the base unit on, a clean solid surface to allow the fan underneath to draw air (A non-metallic surface is recommended) A nearby (within a few feet) chair, couch or bed to allow you to comfortably sit or lie at approximately the same level as the bulb Place the base unit on the table with the timer knob facing the chair. Place the end of the bulb with the felt band into the round opening on top of the base unit. With the bulb held vertically, press it into the base unit. It should insert approximately 3 inches and feel snug, not tipping when you release it. Plug the female end of the power cord into the base unit. There is only one place it can go. Do not substitute similar power cords for this one; it is a high quality shielded cord. Plug the other end of the power cord into the wall. To activate, make sure hands, face, hair, jewelry, etc are not near the glass tube. Any items in close proximity to the unit will be energized with high voltage while it is running. This voltage is of a very high frequency and low power, and generally will not hurt you, but some people find it a little unnerving to be zapped by a spark. Turn the timer knob clockwise to the desired time setting. It will turn itself off when the time is up. Page 4
4 Operation 4.1 Typical Operation 1. Don t touch tube when activated 2. Do not place any metal objects on or near the base of the unit while it is running. This could cause arching and break the vacuum on the tubes. 3. User should sit, stand or lie 2 to 3 feet from the device 4. Top of tube should be approximately at eye level 5. Bottom of device should be approximately at the level of the sacrum or tailbone 6. For general use, focus attention lightly on the electrified tube, your physical body and the energy field surrounding your body. Focus should allow all three (tube, body, and field) to blend / merge into one awareness. 7. Breathing should begin as a gentle in-and-out breath and can slowly move toward an awareness of breath that is connected or merged with the energy/awareness of the tube, body, and field. 8. Use from 5 to 15 minutes, one to three times a day. (Feel free to experiment with the duration of use) Less time is needed with the DC units. 9. After each use, drink 8 or more ounces of water to facilitate flushing the system of any toxins that may be released. 4.2 For Acute Conditions 1. User should focus on area of illness (if more than one, focus on one area at a time) 2. Focus and breathing should be gentle and relaxed 3. Focus and breath should be allowed to merge with tube, area of illness and field surrounding area of illness 4. After establishing an awareness of this merging, shift your attention to the out breath and visualize and feel expelling unwanted toxic energies from the physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual bodies. (This toxic energetic matter is often perceived as gray or black smoke-like energy). 5. Use for 1 to 3 minutes, three times a day to start. (More time could cause toxemia, or healing crisis). Build up to 5 to 15 minutes, three times a day with AC units and about 2/3 less time for DC units. 4.3 Variations Use with meditation, yoga, pranayama, chakra work, chi-kung (internal or external), when doing energy healing work, massage, cranial-sacral, etc., and as adjunct when receive body work, shamanic work, interdimensional communications, channeling, and crystal work. A crystal placed on top of the tube or on top of the base can enhance availability of energy to the body. Page 5
5 Discussion 5.1 Tube types There are two basic types of tube used with the SEAD unit, Pyrex glass, and fused quartz. Both tubes allow for a wide spectrum of light frequency and energy to flow through them to the user. The quartz crystal tube differs in that it emits a greater quantity and quality of light frequency and energy. Analysis of the transmission spectra show that quartz has less loss in the UV and higher energy portion of the spectrum. It is possible that the microcrystalline structure of annealed fused quartz augments the electrical energy transformation. 5.2 Clairvoyant Observations Clairvoyant observers report a wide range of effects in the energy field of the body. The following transcription is typical: The unit emits light or frequencies similar to the healthful rays of the sun. It opens and vitalizes chakras, channels and nadis within the physical, psychological, energetic/auric and spiritual bodies. It can also place the user in the alpha and theta state. Enhances the 8 th (soul) chakra allowing a clearer, cleaner flow of soul energy into the seven bodily chakras. It also enhances the connection to chakras nine and ten, allowing communication with beings that work with cellular and soul archetypes. It works the pineal and pituitary gland in such a way that creates an energy configuration (an infinity symbol, ) around these glands that harmonizes the sixth and seventh chakras, creating a balance that allows the other chakras to harmonize as well. It raises the capacity for release of toxicity. It enhances immune function and the healing capacity of diseased organs, as well as general illness in the body. It takes one's vibration and raises it to a point where one can more easily access interdimensional communication. It allows each chakra to function at its optimum, considering the individual s level of development. It allows the auric field to expand, creating a greater space for insight as well as inner harmony and peace. The energy of the unit should be considered a vehicle for a conscious intelligent interaction. This consciousness will emit not just energy but intelligence that fill the organism on all levels with a quantity and quality of energy, which focus on areas that are most deficient. It can be utilized in the garden. As it revitalizes the human body it can revitalize any consciousness, be it earth, plant, animal, fish, or fowl (fire, air, water, earth). It helps to transmute stagnant chi into healthy chi. It opens the doors to fourth and fifth dimensional bleed through. What comes through is conscious, and needs to be respected in this way. It s like being in front of a teacher, but one without agendas. It creates a clockwise vortex of energy. Wherever the machine is turned on it creates a power point, or vortices of energy. Page 6

I am at least 18 years old or of legally consensual age. 6. I have sought whatever counsel I desire with regards to the procedure, or if I have not sought counsel, I have chosen not to do so. 7. I am requesting that the procedure be administered to me freely and voluntarily without compulsion, coercion or compensation being paid to me, by any person(s) including the administrators. 8. I may discontinue the procedure at any time. 9.
