3 Club J Mission Kids Children s Ministry Events! The Club J Mission Kids have been busy this semester helping others. They ve gone on two field trips: one to Clarion Assisted Living to play BINGO and hand deliver Valentine cards they made to the residents, and the other to TABLE to fill bags with food for local school children. They ve made healthy snack bags for the homeless, as well as beautiful decorations for Shipwrecked VBS! Thank you Club J Mission Kids for all you ve done this year to share the love of Christ. See photos on front page. SHIPWRECKED VBS FunShop: AHOY! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! UBC will host a Shipwrecked VBS FunShop in our Great Hall on Saturday morning, April 28 from 8:30am-Noon. Group's VBS FunShop events offer hands-on-training where attendees learn how to create amazing decorations with step-by-step instructions, experience a Day at VBS, network and learn how to plan, coordinate and pull off an amazing VBS event. For this to be a success, Allison will need some volunteers to help the morning of the FunShop at the registration table, setting out refreshments and manning some station tables. There are also spots available for some of Alexandra & Ethan Meyers, Katharine Watson Katherine & Daniel Watson our own VBS Leaders to participate in the FunShop. Please let Allison know if you can help or would like to attend the FunShop. Mother~Son Jammin Fun Luau APRIL 21, 6:30-8:30p Come enjoy a tropical themed event full of games, dancing, refreshments, and music! Make sure not to leave before taking a Mother/Son photograph in your tropical/luau apparel, so bring your camera. Mothers, don t miss out on a chance to spend some quality time with your son. The cost is $25 per mother (bring all your sons), and includes food, entertainment and party favors. All ages are invited. Reservations are required, so email Allison James at allisonaj@nc.rr.com to register. Boys, inviting a friend and his mom to come would be TOTALLY RAD DUDE!
