CHILDREN S CHURCH MAY 2018 LESSON PLAN May 6, 2018 1. I am Blindfold Draw It Out The children will make two lines. The first two children will be blindfolded. The helpers will whisper in their ear what they are supposed to draw. They will have 30 seconds to draw it. Whatever team wins, does not have to say an I am but if neither team winds, both teams have to say an I am. We can draw on the Spirit of God for anything we need. Ms. Angela 2. Have a child pray. 3. Once the offering is collected, have the ushers take it to the table. c. Remind the children: i. Begin filling out the offering envelope as soon as they get it. ii. Drunk on the Holy Ghost Ms. Christina a. Acts 2:1-18 b. On the Day of Pentecost, people thought the disciples were drunk. c. If people thought they were drunk, they were doing more than speaking in a different language. d. The disciples were falling down, laughing and they looked like drunk people. 9. Power Verse a. Ephesians 5:18, And be not drunk with wine, wherein in excess; but be filled with the Spirit; b. Read it. c. Repeat it with jingle. d. Let s go, let s go, let s jump into the flow. The supernatural is just beyond our comfort zone. The Holy Ghost s moving, and we re filled with the Spirit. The church is in revival and the world needs to hear it. We will have four sets of paper plate paddles (heavy duty paper plates with paint sticks or rules taped to them) and 8 balloons. The children will hit the balloon from one end of the room to the other to receive a power verse word. Once all of the children have gone or all of the words are received, the children will work together to put the power verse in order. This game represents how the Holy Spirit moves upon

May 13, 2018 1. I am Cereal Transfer The children will place a piece of cereal on their nose and will have thirty seconds to get it from their nose to their mouth only using their facial numbers. If they make it to their mouth in thirty seconds they do not have to day an I am but if they do not make it, they have to say an I am. God is preparing the hearts of his people for a harvest. g. Many people have received healings after yielding to laughter. i. The Bible says a merry heart does good like a medicine. ii. I have seen more testimonies of instant healings in the past 2 years, than in the past 18 years before. 10. Power Verse a. Ephesians 5:18, And be not drunk with wine, wherein in excess; but be filled with the Spirit; b. Read it.
c. Repeat it with jingle. d. Let s go, let s go, let s jump into the flow. The supernatural is just beyond our comfort zone. The Holy Ghost s moving, and we re filled with the Spirit. We will tape two tic-tac-toe boards on the ground and two teams will go head to head. Paper plates will have x s or o s on them. Two children will go at a time, making their moves. If it s a tie, they both get a word, if they win, then only that team gets a word. The losing team has to do 20 jumping jacks at the end to get the rest of their words. Once all of the children have gone or all of the words are received, the children will work together to put the power verse in order. May 20, 2018 1. I am Memory Game We will cut four poster board into four pieces giving a total of 16 big cards. We will make a memory game out of the cards to play outside (weather permitting). If you do not get a pair when it is your turn, you will say an I am. We must remember that the former and latter revivals are bundled into this last day move of the Spirit. Ms. Angela 2. May 27, 2018 1. I am Nerf Dart Goalie One child will try to protect a cup, using only their hands, from two other children that are trying to shoot it down with nerf guns. If the cup survives for 15 seconds, the two children who are shooting have to say an I am. If the cup gets knocked down, the child protecting the cup has to say an I am.
