4. SOWING SEEDS OF KINDNESS REPORT: Thirty seven people were served with food and many visited the Clothes Closet this past Tuesday. Thank you so much for the abundance of fruit that was given to our ministry. The fruit was a great help. Please continue the blessing. We have been approved by Feeding America as well as United Way known as 2-1-1. We are now working on being licensed for repackaging food products. It is far more cost effective to buy in bulk and then package into smaller amounts. You might be interested that we have also been certified as a Soup Kitchen for the public. There are many stories and needs coming to us each week. Please pray for this ministry that men and women will be led to know Jesus. It would be appreciated if you could put this ministry into your monthly budget. Little is much when God is in it. NEXT WEEK 5. What does it mean to Walk with God? Enoch walked with God, and walked right into heaven. Can we do the same? This series will explore together, the meaning of and the how to Walk with God. Learning to Walk with God doesn t usually happen in a moment. It usually takes years. Yet it begins in a moment. We will explore those precious moments and the Walk that follows. We begin here. If you do everything we cover in this series, your walk with God will never end. It will continue into heaven and onto the New Earth. Come, and enjoy the adventure of Walking with God. The learning happens every Sabbath afternoon one hour before sunset beginning today, February 13, 4:31 pm in the sanctuary of the Yucaipa Seventh-day Adventist Church. Learning to Walk with God is coordinated by Elder Gary Strunk. Pageant of Our Lord has been enjoyed by over 200,000 people. Each presentation of art pieces (live people as the pictures and sculptures), magnificent orchestrations with a 60-voice choir and original narration will led the audience on a unique journey through Christ s life. Over 400 volunteers donate hundreds of hours each year to bring this unique gospel presentation to believers and non-believers alike. Today there are no fewer than fifteen pieces of art in each performance, a much larger number than the original six in 1986. Since its noble roots, the Pageant has developed into a magnificent presentation that continues to amaze audiences with its dramatic and realistic depictions of some of the world s most famous masterpieces. The entire Pageant team of 400+ members continue to pray each year for God to reveal His will and show the way for Pageant of Our Lord to continue to touch lives for years to come. This is an amazing pageant of the arts; depiction of Jesus and those instrumental to His ministry, woven together with beautiful choir and orchestra. The most fantastic pageant I have ever experienced. SENIORS FELLOWSHIP will be going to see PAGEANT OF OUR LORD March 20 in Rolling Hills. We have purchased 20 tickets for seats in the center section at the Covenant Church for the 3 pm presentation. You may purchase your ticket through our church office. Sign up in the foyer but the tickets will be reserved for the first ones who pay for them. For more info contact Karen Lafferty. For Seniors who need transportation we have the van reserved and will leave the church at noon. After the presentation we stop somewhere for supper on the way home or you can bring a sack lunch.
