Lee Banks, Superintendent Deaconess Elaine Harris, Asst Superintendent Missionaries Today we take time to salute our Missionaries as they celebrate their 58th year of service here at Christ Temple Baptist Church. We are blessed to have this continuous group of dedicated servants who not only work within our church, but also in our community with outreach efforts to local shelters and social agencies, and they also support foreign missions. This ministry has members who volunteer assistance with women s shelters, and they co-sponsor efforts to collect and distribute items needed by these shelters. They meet each month to not only discuss their calendar, but to also study the Word of God. The CTBC Missionaries support Christ Temple but they also support other churches by attending their programs and extending invitations for them to visit with us as well. This service today has a special dedicatory part offering tribute to Missionary Thelma Holmes. A devoted long time member of Christ Temple who is an excellent example of hard work and dedication. We support the Missionaries in honoring this faithful woman of God. Although this is a Ministry dedicated to these special efforts, the reality is that we are all called to be Missionaries. We are all called to reach out to others in need and do what we can when we can to help. This help can come in different ways it may be financial, but it can also be emotional or a simple act of kindness. Each day we should strive to live our mission! Dr. Dale A. Lawson, Sr., ~Pastor

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8 (KJV)
