Liturgy & Worship Anthem for the Queen's 90th Birthday St Paul s Cathedral has commissioned Master of the Queen s Music Judith Weir to create a new anthem for the Queen's 90th birthday. It will be sung by St Paul s Cathedral Choir at the National Service of Thanksgiving here on Friday 10 June. But the Cathedral is not keeping the anthem to itself for a world premiere. The piece has been written to suit both the magnificent choir of St Paul s Cathedral and local amateur choirs - so everyone should feel able to perform it to enjoy an echo of the St Paul s service wherever they are. People will be able to order the anthem from Judith Weir s publisher Chester Novello to perform at their own local services or concerts to celebrate the Queen s birthday.
