Canyoneering The sport of Canyoneering stretches back more than 12,000 years in the plains of Southern Utah. The ancient tribes who inhabited this landscape would navigate the slot canyons of Zion to gather plants and berries while hunting Woolly Mammoths, Giant Sloths, and Camels. Southern Utah is internationally recognized for its green, lush canyons tightly enclosed by towering, red sandstone walls. Zion Ponderosa offers our adventurers the unique opportunity to explore these canyons by climbing, bouldering, rappelling, and swimming. But don t let this description scare you! Rappelling Lessons Do you dream of canyoneering but don t know where to start? This is the activity for you! (This lesson is included for all canyoneering tours) Mini ATVs Give your children the chance to have their own adventure with our mini ATVs. They will feel grown up, all the while staying on a safe track. Climbing Wall Mountain Bike Rentals Climb up a 50-foot wall, rock by rock.
