rector s corner PAGE 2 ST. LUKE S NEWSLETTER Potluck and Games Night Big Success! Our Neighborhood Potluck and Games Night on Sunday, March 18 was a terrific event! Thirty-eight adults and children from the neighborhood and many people from St. Luke s participated. There was food galore, donations to the Perinton Food Shelf, balloons for the children and lots of games! Thank you to everyone from St. Luke s who brought and served food, mingled with neighbors, played games, and stayed afterwards for cleanup. That morning, Bishop Singh said a special blessing at both services for the new Neighborhood Fun Committee of neighbors and St. Luker s. Our St. Luke s members of the Committee are Suzanne Roscoe, Crystal Myers, Melissa Panara, Ralph Henderson and Deven Hubert. At the Potluck and Games Night we invited neighbors who didn t have a Church home to our Easter services on April 1 at 8 and 10 and to the Easter Egg Hunt after the 10 o clock service. We also invited them to the J2A Trivia Night on April 14. Flyers about our Spring Bazaar on April 28 were also on the tables. The Neighborhood Fun Committee will meet again after Easter to plan future activities. Please keep this committee in your prayers. If you have suggestions for future activities, contact any member of the Committee. It is exciting for us to be building more connections between St. Luke s and our neighbors and inviting more people through our doors! Yours in Christ, Deven
