Entrance Hymn Come let us bow down to Christ, As we worship Him, the Son of God. Save us, O Son of God, Who did rise from the dead, We sing to You: Alleluia. Resurrectional Apolytikion ( Plagal One) To the Word, coeternal with the Father and the Spirit, Born of the Virgin for our salvation, Let us, the faithful, give praise and worship. For He willed to be lifted upon the Cross in the flesh, To endure death and raise the dead By His glorious Resurrection. Apolytikion for the Saint In you, O Mother is preserved undistorted What was made in the image of God; For taking up the cross you followed Christ and taught by your example, That we should overlook the flesh, since it passes away, And instead look after the soul, since it is immortal. And therefore, O devout Mary, your spirit rejoices with the angels. Church Hymn (Troparion of Pentecost) Blessed are You O Christ our God Who has shown the fishermen as wise men By sending down Your Holy Spirit upon them And through them, the whole world You drew into Your net O Lover of mankind, glory to You. Evlogitos i Hriste O Theos imon, O Pansofous tous aliis anadixas, Katapempsas aftis to Pnevma to ayion, Ke thi afton tin ikoumenin saginefsas, Filanthrope doxa Si. Kontakion (Prostasia) A protection of Christians unshamable, Intercessor to our Holy Maker unwavering. Reject not the prayerful cries of those who are in sin. Instead come to us for you are good; Your loving help bring unto us, Who are crying in faith to you; Hasten now to intercede and speed now to supplicate As a protection for all time, Theotokos, for those who honor you. After the Prayer of the Proskomidi I love you, O Lord my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my Savior.

St. Paul's Letter to the Hebrews 9:11-14 BRETHREN, when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) he entered once for all into the Holy Place, taking not the blood of goats and calves but his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. For if the sprinkling of defiled persons with the blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a heifer sanctifies for the purification of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. GOSPEL READING: The Gospel according to St. Mark 10:32-45 THE CONFESSION OF FAITH (Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed) I believe in one God, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created, of one essence with the Father through Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried; And He rose on the third day, according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father; And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead. His kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Creator of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke through the prophets. In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.
