Sermon Notes Thank you for allowing our nursery staff to care for your little ones so the worship of others will not be distracted. Pagers are available. Children are invited to participate in the Children s Message. When they exit they may join the Little Lambs (age 3-5) or the Worship Center (K-2nd grade). At the close of the service, please call for your child. Both centers are located upstairs, first hallway on the left. As a courtesy, please switch your cell phones off or to silent mode. Hearing enhancers are available. Please ask an usher. The flow of the worship service is subject to change.

Come let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our God our maker (Psalm 95:6). While we may not physically bow down or kneel with our bodies, we certainly do in our hearts. As we gather in worship we acknowledge that the Lord is our God and our maker and we enter his presence with humble gladness to worship the one who made us. Welcome! This morning, we are happy to have our GEMS Girl s Club Ministry helping lead us in worship. Pastor Michael s message will focus on their theme for the year, In His Steps based on 1 John 2:6. Next week, our boy s ministry, the Cadets, will be leading us as we look at their theme for the year, God Seeking Us based on Ezekiel 34:7-16. Pastor Michael s Profession of Faith/New Member Class will meet again this afternoon at 2:30 in the Fireside Room. CONGREGATIONAL MEETING, MONDAY, APRIL 30th After receiving input from the Council and the congregation, the Facilities Planning team has been meeting the past year to assess our existing facilities with the goal of making recommendations that will provide adequate space for our ministry needs and programs. After presenting their recommendations to Council, it was unanimously endorsed to move forward with the next step of presenting them to the congregation. Monday, April 30th at 7:00 p.m., you are invited to attend a congregational meeting to hear their report and learn about their recommendation for a new building project. Additional information will be provided the night of the meeting. Childcare will be provided. The deacons gratefully acknowledge the April 22, 2018 receipts: General Fund- $6,636.00; Friendship Ministries-$869.00. The Cadets thank their church family in our efforts to purchase a new Pine Wood Derby track. We broke it in last Sunday with scores of hot, fast little cars in their trial run for the May 6 derby. Registration and a pizza lunch begin at 4:30 for Cadets, GEMS and the Open class. Everyone is invited who wants to support them or is interested in seeing this cool track!! Again, our deepest thanks to our church family for blessing us. Also, a reminder that the Cadets are available for spring clean-ups that need a lot of hands and fun energy. We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, I know him, but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
