Begone you enemy powers. The Lion of the Tribe of Juda, the Root of David has conquered, Alleluia! Friends, Thanks to all of you who took the time to join us for our Parish Mission. It had been many years since we have had this Lenten experience, and I am grateful for the faith you demonstrated in coming out on beautiful sunny evenings to worship the Lord and hear a Lenten challenge from our mission preacher. Everyone, please give something and we can meet our annual appeal challenge.. God bless you all. You know, it does a pastor s heart good when he sees his people responding to his invitations for a closer walk with Christ. And frankly it grieves a pastor when his invitations are most generally not accepted by so, so many. Examine your consciences. Upcoming confessions for Easter are Saturday the 28th of March at 9AM. Seven priests will be here for the sacrament. Examinations of conscience are in your bulletin. Please keep the annual diocesan appeal pledges coming. It is so uplifting to see the generous responses coming in.
