CHORAL SERV IC ES Services are normally sung by King s College Choir on Sundays and from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Services on Mondays are sung by King s Voices, the College s mixed voice choir. Exceptions are listed. On Sunday 4 July, the services are sung by former choral scholars: the Choir will be singing in Prescott, Lancashire, one of the College livings. [ 2 ]

ORGAN RECI TALS Each Saturday during full term time there is an organ recital at 6.30 p.m. until 7.15 p.m. Admission is free, and there is a retiring collection. MU S I C The Dante Quartet, the College s resident string quartet joins the Choir for Schubert Mass in G on Sunday 6 June. Samuel Sebastian Wesley, born 1810, an important figure in the history of English Cathedral Music, is celebrated on Thursday 1 July, the occasion of the annual evensong sung by the Choirs of King s and St John s Colleges. A performance of Monteverdi Vespers of 1610 is given on Friday 9 July, in which the Choir is joined by the Academy of Ancient Music. Subsequent performances will be given in France and Holland. Works by two choral scholars, formerly King s choristers, are included this term. James Mawson Short Service (25 April) and Edmund Rex Viri Galilaei (16 May).
