EXHORTATION TO GENEROSITY - 2 Corinthians 9, 6-15 Ricardo Grzona, Executive President of the Foundation Ramon Pane writes to you, on behalf of our Ecclesial Institution. RAMON PANE Who was he? Ramón Pané was a lay person associated to the hieronymites order, or the Order of St. Jerome. He was present in the monastery of Murtra in Spain at the meeting of Christopher Columbus with the Catholics Kings when returned from the new Continent America. Ramon Pane understood that if in this new continent had people, human beings in the same image and likeness of our Lord, then they should take the Word of God to them. He told to Columbus this, and he embarked on the second trip to the America Continent, arriving in 1494, and thus began his mission. Página 1 of 12

He came with an Official entrusted to teach "Latin" and then "Bible"; but in wisdom, surely enlightened by the Holy Spirit, he learned the language of the Indians Tainos And then he taught them the "Word of God" in their own languages, just as our Lord Jesus Christ did, who went out to take the message of God, using experiences that people understand, and speaking in their language (as parables or examples from everyday life). Ramon Pane did the same as Jesus, he taught the people in their native languages. So, Ramon Pane was the first who brings the Word of God to the new continent, and the miracle is accomplished: today, the Americas have the highest percentage of Catholics in the world and also the highest percentage Christian. FOUNDATION RAMON PANE Our Foundation has this charisma. Following this example of evangelizing, our Foundation, seeks to learn the languages of today's society, not only as language, but also in all forms of expression, understanding and communication, to present the Gospel, the message of God through the Holy Scripture from the Tradition and Magisterium of the Church, attending the real needs of people. For 20 years, we have been offering local and international: Congresses, Workshops, Retreats, Conferences, Bibliography, Online Courses, Software and Applications for computers, Smartphones and Tablets with various topics of evangelism and spirituality, along with reflections for various pastoral ministries. We also give free service every week through our websites: www.fundacionpane.com and www.cristonautas.com, providing bible study material, reflection and prayer for Adults, Youth and Children, and a constant process of supporting for evangelization and mission in several countries, mainly in the America Continent. CRISTONAUTAS: FOUNDATION RAMON PANE PROGRAM Since 2006 we have focused more on working with young people and with enormous gratitude to God, we have had very successful programs that are a gift from God and for his Glory. This way with these programs, we continue to improving and making them better). In 2013, we started with a model built from our experiences in evangelism and mission in our face to face with young people, to understand their pastoral needs, adapting schemas of work, with the main focus: understanding which language to use to evangelize. So, we built what we called "Model Cristonautas 1". Página 3 of 12

Based on the Bible, Tradition and the Magisterium of the Church, Lectio Divina, The New Evangelization (From Classical, Contemporary and Urban Art, as well as Information and Communication Technologies), primarily focused on "Youth" in order to go to the Great Continental Mission to which we are called by the Church in the Aparecida Document, to become Disciples and Missionaries. Permanent follow up, through our motor Lectio Divina for Sundays on text and audio and much more www.fundacionpane.com - www.cristonautas.com The first workshop where this model was implemented was held in Mexico with 85 young leaders from 17 countries participating. At the end of this meeting, they came out with a different vision for Evangelism and Mission, with the task to go and make more disciples for the Lord, and their goal it was to reach an additional 850 youth leaders following this model. Using the multiplier effect in the groups and in all directions, within a year we have reach 23,690 people. This is well above the desired goal. Página 6 of 12

On these young people journey, we have not left them alone. We have been accompanying them in person in some of their countries, parishes or groups. Each week we give more support through the internet about the Word of God with Lectio Divina for Sunday with Sunday Gospel according to the liturgical cycle of the Church, in text, audio and other materials for children and youth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmkmnidm2kc&list=plqyyfmginijodb9ht-gj9jj5mdaea3rkv http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-f004wbdh00&list=plqyyfmginijodb9ht-gj9jj5mdaea3rkv Página 7 of 12

We are thankful for these successes, and blessed by God, we hope to do repeat them this year through an International CRISTONAUTAS meeting, with other young people from 20 countries. It will be in Dominican Republic in September from 22nd to 29th, 2014. We will have a wider scope, inviting young people from Europe: Spain; Africa: Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique and Angola, more young from Brazil; Asia: Philippines; North America: Canada, from the Caribbean: Haiti, the Netherlands Antilles and other countries who speak or understand Spanish. Página 8 of 12

Let us remember to St. Paul s Exhortation to Generosity: Exhortation to generosity (2 Corintnians 9, 6-15) 6 Remember that the person who plants few seeds will have a small crop; the one who plants many seeds will have a large crop. 7 You should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly. 8 And God is able to give you more than you need, so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause. 9 As the scripture says, He who gives generously to the needy; his kindness lasts forever. 10 And God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity. 11 He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times, so that many will thank God for your gifts which they receive from us. 12 For this service you perform not only meets the needs of God's people, but also produces an outpouring of gratitude to God. 13 And because of the proof which this service of yours brings, many will give glory to God for your loyalty to the gospel of Christ, which you profess, and for your generosity in sharing with them and everyone else. 14 And so with deep affection they will pray for you because of the extraordinary grace God has shown you. 15 Let us thank God for his priceless gift! Página 9 of 12

BE MISSIONARY IN THE CHURCH WITH US We are an institution that is seeking to build a wide base of donors to finance our efforts, presently, we do not have enough resources to help to the participation of these young people and especially those from poor countries. Using a process of Meditation and Prayer under the Light of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and Our Mother Mary, and taking texts from the Bible, where Jesus and his disciples asked people and they gladly helped them, and as did the disciples after Pentecost, which we can read in the book of Acts, the Christian communities pooled their assets to meet their needs of preaching the Word and providing for the common table of the poor. Página 10 of 12

Brothers, we are here, because we feel the call of the Lord to continue to carry his Word, and we look to you in the name of God and our Mother the Church, because as we have discerned and are committed. First, we ask for your prayers for this ministry entrusted to us, who make up Foundation Ramon Pane. I am certain that you would like to know and feel the joy and satisfaction of being missionaries and evangelists. Your financial support would considerably broaden the horizon of the Gospel. Today more than ever, the Church is in need of a deep and New Evangelization. One hundred fifty (150) youth leaders have been invited to the next international workshop scheduled for September. The cost for each participant is $2,000.00 dollars. That amount covers: airline ticket, accommodation, food, work material and the costs of international trainers who speak in the workshop for eight full days. Additionally, it also covers the cost of support from the Foundation Ramón Pane that will be used to accompany these youth missionaries for the following year. Some of those who have been invited can get financial aid, but others, live in situations of extreme poverty, and do not have the resources or the contacts to get financial aid. We do not want to discriminate against those young leaders because they have the capability of transforming our society with Christian values. They are often the most committed to go back to their communities and generate these changes. They are the most diligent in their work including, sending a report to show their achievements. They will be successful missionaries. Your joy and satisfaction comes through the work of these Youth. We can achieve all this, and more, by your great goodwill that you right now the Lord calls you to be missionaries through these Cristonautas. In one year, we will return as the grateful leper, to say thanks, and show you the results you achieved by your generosity in creating missionaries and fishermen who bring the joy and good news of the Word of God. Furthermore, as you are missionaries with us, we are committed to go wherever you call us to take the Word of God. Jesus speaks about the parable of the talents and said, "who is entrusted with a little and produces more, will be entrusted with much." Today, I am very grateful to the Lord because I can say, "He has entrusted to us in the little and has also entrusted to us in what is not ours and we have produced much for the Lord." I invite you entrust to these youth a little so that they might produce a little more for the sake of the Gospel. I invite you to please give some scholarships to some youth leaders who perhaps unable go to Página 11 of 12

Santo Domingo, and therefore unable to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Whatever you give today is for a future of disciples and missionaries. I am grateful that you have received me and them with this message. We keep you close in our hearts, in our thoughts, and in our prayers. We welcome your comments and feedback, in the name of the Church, and as brothers in the Lord. Welcome "missionary disciple" as the Pope Francis said in his speech to the CELAM. No matter how small or big is your gift, in the name of the Lord, we shall be grateful. We invite you to be part of this meeting of evangelization and mission.
