HOSPITALITY SUNDAY Today is Hospitality Sunday. Please join us after the 9:00am Mass for a little reception in the Parish Center Meeting Room. This is a great opportunity to socialize and get to meet new friends. Please come and join us. SPANISH FOOD FESTIVAL Our parish s Spanish Food Festival will take place on Sunday, September 10 th from 11:30am to 5:00pm. It will be held on the school field and playground by the gym. There will be a variety of homemade Hispanic foods, games and raffle chances. Fun for all ages. Bring your family and friends and join us for a day of fun and socializing. But Jeremiah trusted in the Lord and overcame his persecutors. Second Reading: Romans 5:12-15 Paul explains to the Romans that Adam s sin brought death to all, but Christ s gift of himself brought grace and life. Gospel: Matthew 10:26-33 In authoritative and encouraging words, Jesus urges the apostles to fear nothing -- only him who can destroy the soul. Telling them every hair of your head has been counted, he promises that Whoever acknowledges me before men I will acknowledge before my Father in heaven. BASKETBALL CAMP St. Joseph s will be having basketball camp July 17-21. Camp is for boys and girls of any skill level entering grades 4-9. Registration forms can be found at the entrances of the church. Sponsors: This is the 17 th year that St. Joseph s has had basketball camp. Jesus said: This is My Body This is My Blood Could you not watch one hour with Me? WHEN? Any hour of the day or night, any day of the week. WHERE? The Blessed Sacrament Chapel here at St. Joseph Church. WHY? To give God the adoration that is due Him and to continue our thanksgiving for the sacrament of the Eucharist. WHY COMMIT? The exposed Blessed Sacrament must never be left alone. There are 168 hours in the week and we must know that someone will be there each hour. Guardians permit the chapel to remain open for anyone who wants to visit. GUARDIAN? A Guardian of the Blessed Sacrament is an adorer who commits to visit Jesus each week at a particular time. For example you might choose Tuesday at 6PM or Sunday at 2AM. The choice is yours. Every hour is a good one and Jesus will be waiting for you! NO TIME?
