God s prophets told people about Jesus long before He was born. Christ Connection: God had a great plan to rescue people from sin. God s plan was not a secret plan. The prophets told people about God s plan. They said God would send a Messiah: Jesus! Jesus would be born into the world as a baby. Jesus has the power to heal our bodies. Christ Connection: Isaiah the prophet said that the Messiah God was going to send would make blind people see. (Isaiah 35:5; 42:7) The Messiah was here!
