SCRIPTURE Ephesians 6: 10-18 (NKJV) The Whole Armor of God 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, [a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints 4
RESPONSIVE READING Psalm 23: 1-61 6 (NKJV) LEADER: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. CONG: He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. LEADER: He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name s sake. CONG: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. LEADER: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. ALL: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever. 5
BLESSED ASSURANCE Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a fore-taste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. Chorus: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long; This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior all the day long. Perfect submission, perfect delight! Visions of rapture now burst on my sight, Angels descending bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love. Perfect submission all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest; Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love. 6
The tenth shall be holy unto the Lord. Leviticus 27:32 Every Christian should strive to learn how to be a cheerful giver. When we give what does it actually mean? It simply means we, cheerfully give to God our tithes and offerings. Tithing honors God. Are you giving the Lord His tithes or your tips? The word tithe means to give back to God one tenth of your earnings for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world. If you earn You owe the Lord $10 $1 $50 $5 $75 $7.50 $100 $10 $200 $20 $500 $50 $700 $70 $1,000 $100 Special Giving Above Tithe and Offering July 3 Education July 10 Annual Ushers Day July 17 Vision 2023 July 24 Foreign Missions 7
