Spiritual Pathfinder WHEN YOU ARE WEAK AND NEED STRENGTH Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 NRSV He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak. Isaiah 40:29 NLT And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJ I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great troubles, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through a fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2 NLT So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings. Matthew 6:34 TEV O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Psalm 68:35 NKJ For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes. Romans 1:16 NLT I know very well how foolish the message of the cross sounds to those who are on the road to destruction. But we who are being saved recognize this message as the very power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 NLT

For the Kingdom of God is not just fancy talk; it is living by God s power. 1 Corinthians 4:20 NLT Yet we who have this spiritual treasure are like common clay pots, in order to show that the power belongs to God, not to us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 TEV Now glory be to God! By his might power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we could ever dare to ask or hope. Ephesians 3:20 NLT For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death. Romans 8:2 NLT But truly, I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of justice and might. Micah 3:8 NKJ Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 NKJ But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, and all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 TEV The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11 NKJ But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3.3 NIV Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31.6 NKJ

With God on our side we will win; he will defeat our enemies. Psalm 60:12 TEV But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John 1:12 NKJ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, to those who believe in His name. Ephesians 6:10 NKJ I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 NRSV But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak. Isaiah 40:31 TEV So you should not be like cowering, fearful slaves. You should behave instead like God s very own children, adopted into his family, calling him Father, dear Father. For his Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts and tell us that we are God s children. Romans 8:15,16 NLT But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a river bank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit. Jeremiah 17:7,8 NLT

WHEN YOU ARE DOWN AND NEED JOY Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything. James 1: 2-4 NLT Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 NKJ Dear friends, don t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world. 1 Peter 4:12,13 Even though the fig trees have no fruit and no grapes grow on the vines, even through the olive crop fails and the fields produce no grain, even though the sheep all die and the cattle stalls are empty, I will still be joyful and glad, because the Lord God is my savior. Habakkuk 3:17,18 TEV When you boy down before the Lord and admit your dependence on him, he will lift you up and give you honor. James 4:10 NLT I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. Psalm 40:1,2 NLT The Lord says that you must not be discouraged or be afraid to face this large army. The battle depends on God, not on you. 2 Chronicles 20:15 TEV Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6 NLT

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:11,12 NIV For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future, neither the world above nor the world below-there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38,39 TEV Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24 NKJ Create a pure heart in me, O God, and put a new and loyal spirit in me. Do not banish me from your presence; do not take your holy spirit away from me. Give again the joy that comes from your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. Psalm 51:10-12 TEV Don t worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart. And God s peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7 TEV And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:13,14 Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord. Yes, happy are those who delight in doing what he commands. Psalm 112:1 NLT Happy are those who follow his commandments, who obey him with all their heart. Psalm 119:2 TEV

I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 NRSV Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Phillipians 4:4 NRSV Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; who forgives all you iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies. Psalm 103: 1-4 NKJ This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 NKJ I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. Job 19:25 NIV I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. Isaiah 61:10 NLT For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 NLT I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is filled with joy, and my mouth shouts his praises! My body rests in safety. Psalm 16:8,9 NLT He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared. Revelation 20:4 TEV

WHEN YOU ARE CONFUSED AND NEED DIRECTION And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it, your Father knows that you need them, but seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well. Luke 12:29-31 NIV In the same way the Spirit also comes to help us, weak as we are. For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit himself pleads with God for us in groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26 TEV To be controlled by human nature results in death; to be controlled by the Spirit results in life and peace. Romans8:6 TEV Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. Psalm 37:5 NLT Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6 NKJ Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Mark 9:23 NKJ I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11 NIV Let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish. Hebrews 12:1,2 NLT

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heave, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 NRSV When the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and selfcontrol. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV And I will give you a new heart with new and right desires, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony heart of sin and give you a new, obedient heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so you will obey my laws and do whatever I command. Ezekiel 36:26,27 NLT This is the assurance we have in approaching God: That if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14 NIV Cry out for insight and understanding. Search for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure. Ten you will you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. For the Lord grants wisdom! Proverbs 2:3-6 NLT If you need wisdom-if you want to know what God wants you to do-ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. James 1:5,6

Fill you minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable.
