REDEFINING CAPITAL STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGNS Since 1999, Impact has helped raise over $950 million to expand ministry space, enhance domestic and international missions outreach and retire inhibiting church debt. Our team brings together decades of experience in Feasibility Studies, Giving Analysis, Capital Stewardship Campaigns, Stewardship Curriculum, and Capital Campaign Media to help your ministry implement a spiritual plan that enables a wider reach to your community. www.impactstewardship.com RESULTS In the past 36 months, Impact Stewardship has helped churches raise $150 million dollars for church ministry and debt retirement.

PLEDGE FULFILlMENT

Grant Ethridge I ve been in a lot of building programs and I have done a lot of campaigns myself. But I ve never raised $20 million. This campaign was larger than anything that we have ever attempted and we knew we were going to need some professional experience, consulting and we got nothing but the best recommendations about Impact. Liberty Baptist Church Hampton, VA Contact: 757-826-2110 ND 2csc IKE REighard In order for our stewardship campaign to have a successful outcome we needed a capital stewardship firm with a fresh innovative approach that would fully engage our congregation in embracing the vision for our future. Impact proved to be a firm that was willing to adapt their approach to match the needs of our fellowship. Piedmont Church Marietta, GA Contact: 770-422-2566 Lynn Hill Financially (post-campaign) the church was giving more money than ever before. The capital campaign did not take money away from the operating budget, but in fact helped us have a deeper understanding of stewardship. We were able to raise more money for our operating budget than we ever have before. Franklin First United Methodist Church Franklin, TN Contact: 615-794-2734 ND 2csc

dale b welden What we experienced was a well organized, well thought out, prayer driven, spiritual journey of challenge and education which was sensitive to my concerns as the Pastor and our church culture. St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (PCA) Columbia, SC Contact: 803-732-2273 chris stephens Our church has been greatly impacted as we have used Impact Stewardship. One of the ways, is that we were out of money and we were needing to build, needing to expand. Impact Stewardship was able to help us craft a (capital stewardship campaign) program specifically designed for us, not a rubber stamp, not coming in with all the answers, but coming in and saying, What are your needs? How can we help you maximize ministry and get the greatest influx of dollars for Jesus? I ve done a dozen capital campaigns and Impact was stellar! year 1 csc 3 $ mm raised Faith Promise Knoxville, TN Contact: 865-251-2590 Greg belser One of the great strengths of Impact s approach is to involve people at every level in our congregation. As a result our congregation prospered greatly and everyone is excited about the future and what God is doing at Morrison Heights. case Study LCBC LCBC is a large multi-site church located throughout the state of Pennsylvania. LCBC sought to expand by adding two multisite church plants. They selected Impact Stewardship to help them execute their church-wide, multi-site capital stewardship campaign. The results were truly miraculous! The members of the existing locations sacrificially gave $20 million, in the midst of a difficult economy, for a project that would have no direct benefit to their existing campuses. As they continue to trend toward 100% pledge fulfillment, this church s campaign has truly been an inspiration to all of us. It is a perfect example of what can happen when God stirs the hearts and minds of His people. LCBC MANHEIM, PA Contact: Dwight Kreiser, Director of Finance & Administration at 717-653-6266 DAVID ASHCRAFT Our goal going into this was to raise about $18-22 million dollars. Definitely a challenge, because this was going to be raising money for two campuses that most of the people giving the money toward those campuses would never attend those campuses. And so the challenge was to present a vision bigger than us, and to say this really isn t about us, it s about others, and introducing others to Jesus Christ. Here s an opportunity for us as a church family to indirectly impact many, many lives for Christ. The end result through this: God provided in amazing ways! Right around 20 million dollars was raised to start our fourth and fifth campuses. LCBC MANHEIM, PA

REcommitmenT mid- campaign REcommiTment Focus 1. Engage new members 2. Motivate people who have finished pledge and want to give an additional gift 3. Energize those who could not give initially 4. Reaffirm the intent of those who originally pledged RECent results Bethel World Outreach Brentwood TN 615-371-1000 James Lowe, Pastor Vinay Daswani, Director of Administration $6 million Belmont General Baptist Morgantown, KY Two times budget raised for debt reduction Cross Point Community Church Knightdale, NC $900,000 dollars raised (120 households) Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church Lecanto, FL $3.5 million Christian Church of Jasper Jasper, IN $3 million

James Merritt Impact Stewardship was our strongest option available to help us achieve our goal. They provided more services and value than any other firm that we investigated. I recommend you speak with them before your next capital stewardship campaign project. Cross Pointe Church Duluth, GA Contact: Bruce Hardy, Associate Pastor at 678-812-4500 dwayne mercer One thing that Impact brought to the table that no one else did, was their willingness to meet one on one with some of our largest donors. And through that we were able to raise $4 million of the $13 million we raised. ND 2csc First Baptist Church Oviedo, FL Contact: 407-365-3484 Bryan Smith From the very beginning, once we sat down and began to talk with the consultants of Impact we felt an immediate personal connection. They were warm, they were transparent, they were honest, and they were real. And from the very first meeting we were convinced that we had found the company that would be able to best suit and serve the needs of our congregation. First Baptist Church Roanoke, VA Contact: 540-224-3300

Gary Crawford PASTOR At Westside we have completed seven consecutive financial campaigns to accommodate what the Lord has been doing at Westside. We have worked with five different firms. The best, hands down, is Impact Stewardship... Westside Baptist Church Gainesville, FL Contact: 352-333-7700 rd 3csc REV. Michael Blewett RECTOR We could not have been more pleased with Impact. Their approach and execution was prayerful, professional and prosperous! We were particularly pleased with the quality of materials produced by their media department. Our campaign has been the start of a long-term relationship with the good and faithful servants at Impact. year 1 csc 3 $ mm raised Christ Episcopal Church Bowling Green, KY Contact: 270-792-1216 willy rice They appreciate the DNA of your own particular ministry. They don t try to override that, and they don t try to thrust something upon you that s going to make you uncomfortable. They don t manipulate; they don t pressure your people. They simply help you get your church organized so that you can cast the vision that God has for you, and so that you can ask, in the most effective way possible, people to help you make that vision a reality. They make your church stronger; they help your church become healthier. We did our campaign in 2009 and the economy was really in the tank, especially in central and south Florida. But we had the greatest campaign that our church has ever had: we committed over ten, almost eleven million dollars, and it was simply the greatest campaign we ve ever had! case Study covenant chrisitan church Covenant Christian Church is located in the New Orleans area. Despite a weakened economy they raised four times their annual operating budget for a new campus. In fact, 20% of their pledges came from gifts-in-kind which are a component of Impact s emphasis on creative giving in church campaigns. At the inception of the process, some leaders were skeptical of engaging an outside firm for their campaign. Impact s consultants were able to steer around potential issues, engage, challenge and motivate a large number of members, and communicate the need to all potential contributors. The result was the maximization of the church s capacity to give and a sense of unity. Covenant Christian Church raised 4 times their budget in the 3-year campaign including nearly one times their budget in gifts-in-kind (appreciated assets). COVENANT CHRISTIAN CHURCH COVINGTON, LA Contact: Sherman McLain, Campaign Director at 985-966-8814 (cell) alfred young And I would say, to anybody, if you have a capital stewardship campaign, call Impact Stewardship. Don t do it without calling them. They will bless you, they will bless your people, and what could have been a labor of money raising becomes a labor and a joy of people raising. That s what the campaign has done for us. COVENANT CHRISTIAN CHURCH COVINGTON, LA
