THE LIFE-TRANSFORMING POWER OF A TRIP TO INDIA (2): A TESTIMONIAL Here is wonderful testimonial from Andy who was also on the Extreme Shreem Powerspot Trip (March 2010): Dear Vijay and Mohini Thank you both so much for coordinating and executing an incredible trip together with the Wonderful people from Astroved! Yadeesh, Raj, Maheshwari I'd like to share my testimonial. My Extreme Shreem Trip was basically COMPLETELY paid for by the first day of the trip, plus some excess! On the 1st official day of the trip (13th March), I turned on my mobile phone and received an SMS from my friend saying that one of the stocks that we invested in had hit our target price and we had sold off. It was a 200% ROI over 18 months. Bit of background before hand: This stock is invested in a Gold mine which is listed on the Canadian stock exchange. As a group, a few of us had invested together and my friend is the one who will spot the trend and ask us if we want to sell if he thinks it is viable. We have tried to sell before on 1-2 occasions but the price never ever rose high enough to our target price. On 12th March (the day we departed from Singapore) itself about noon, I received an SMS from my friend, asking if I wanted to sell at a specific price. I said OK. Also, when the stock hit the target price, the price went down again and only went back to the target price once the next day. The Canadian market opened about 10.30pm on 12th April, just as we were on the plane from Singapore to Chennai and it sold off about 12am+ or so. And...the stock, a gold mine? Lakshmi's favourite? A stock we have been trying to sell for a few times, but unsuccessful always? My friend, sending me the SMS the afternoon just as I was about to fly off that evening? I would have kept my phone turned off during the day time and checked my SMS periodically in the day/evenings, and might have missed the timing completely if he had sent the SMS when I was in India. I had a chat with my friend when I returned and asked him why he queued at 5 cents more than the original price. He said he felt that it would most certainly sell at the original price, but wanted to take more of a "risk" and profit more by increasing the target price by 5 cents, a gut feel...basically. Whatever the reason, it happened. I stayed on in Chennai and Bangalore for the next 12 days or so after the main group left and I also completed my 1,000,008 Shreems by chanting 50,000-60,000 shreems everyday.
