The Clearing Technique PMP Expanded "How to Clear Even the Biggest Challenges In Your Life" By Paul Bauer There are essentially only 2 reasons why we don't create the kind of results we want in our lives: 1) Lack of clarity of intention of what we want in our lives 2) Suppressed sub-conscious blocks Today, we will experience a method that will help take care of #2 (Suppressed subconscious blocks) so that we can focus our energies on #1 and naturally manifest and attract what our Hearts desire. Let's define what we mean by suppression. According to Webster s dictionary, suppression means: "the conscious exclusion of unacceptable desires, thoughts, or memories from the mind." In other words, whatever we resist often becomes suppressed into the subconscious - but it never just "goes away". Author John Ruskan adds: "When we are motivated by the desire to avoid negativity, there is no escape from it" What Ruskan is saying is whatever you resist will persist. But it will only persist as long as we ignore it or try to "get rid of it". Simple Law of the Subconscious: If we try to avoid our life issues instead of facing them, we will re-create the same issues day after day until we choose to accept them as actually part of our consciousness (sometimes called the "dark side"). The Solution? - Accept and breathe into your feelings without judgment - when 1

we allow the lessons in our lives to speak, the anguish will begin to dissolve. You may recall what we call "The Unwritten Law Of The Universe", it states: "If what's showing up in your life is other than peace, love, joy or abundance, you know you've got a subconscious block" Acceptance vs Self Rejection If something doesn't go the way we want in our lives, we have several choices: 1) To accept it and learn from it 2) To struggle (resist) it 3) Ignore it When we resist what's happening in our lives, we begin to experience what Ruskan calls "self- rejection". Self-rejection takes many forms: If we don't like our jobs, we may un-consciously show up late, call in sick, or "underperform". If it's in relationships, we may project our problems onto our mates. If it's in our financial lives, we may experience "not enough" and blame it on the economy, employer, or even worse, ourselves for not being "smart enough, good enough", etc. Anytime we judge ourselves as less than whole, we "self-reject". Ruskan writes: "When we try to escape, we only suppress and whatever we try to escape from or fight keeps building" He adds: "When you allow yourself to accept your experience, you allow the creative process to begin. Just as when an artist produces a painting by stepping aside and letting another power come through in the creation, you can use the same approach in ordinary life. You become the artist, with your life as the canvas. You become the witness to creative transformation. You experience the exhilaration of the creative act and find beauty in the most miserable parts of existence" When you can be grateful for everything, you will truly be free. 2

When you perceive with acceptance, something else is accomplished. You learn that acceptance is love and that, in the accepting yourself and your feelings as they are, you build the experience of love for yourself in a way that could never be done through any other means. Loving yourself becomes the healing power that transforms your inner world. Loving yourself is the highest art." So let's review what we have learned so far... Self Acceptance = harmony and peace Resistance = pain Or as Ruskan says, "Resistance creates pain" So resistance is really self rejection. In the Context of Abundance If a person has money problems, all this really means is there's a program running in their subconscious that says something like: "Money is hard to get", or "I have to work hard to earn money" or possibly "I don't deserve large amounts of money" Understand one thing - you did not choose this programming, it was taught to you by your family, society, media and even friends. Many of these "programs" were well intended (especially your parents, because they only did what they thought was best for you.) Some on the other hand aren't well intended (media, government, etc). Either way, you can be free of them by choosing to accept the feelings they create and then you can clear them from your subconscious (and entire energy field - ie. nervous system, chakras, meridians, etc). Once it's in your subconscious, the only way to clear it is to fully feel the feelings that it causes and then release them. Since abundance is your natural state of being, once you clear the feelings and programs that cover the real you, you'll begin to naturally attract people, opportunities, money, and possibilities that you may not even be yet aware of. "Not enough" = suppressed energy of "not enough" If a person experiences "not enough money" "not enough love" or "not enough health", they have suppressed energy of "not enough" that is beneath their conscious awareness. And the more a person "wants" something other than what is happening and thinks 3

that by "getting" it or "having" it will solve their problems, the more they are self rejecting themselves. This is the break point that most people miss on the "road to success". So many well intentioned teachers of prosperity are teaching people how to "get more" without attending to the real issue - the subconscious program that feels "there's never enough". If something in your life isn't going the way you want, all you need to do is to become aware of the feeling beneath the problem, and allow the energy of the feeling to clear. The first step of clearing the problems is self acceptance. Acceptance does not mean automatic approval of any event, whether an inner feeling or the interaction with another person happening in the outside world. Acceptance means rather that we are open to the experience of the event. The solution is to accept ourselves - but in away that's beyond the ego-mind. You can still prefer a different outcome, as long as we don't allow our preference to interfere with the experience. The experience is the jewel. Unfulfilled Desires List Write down 3 things you've been wanting to do - but for some reason haven't been able (or chosen not) to do. 1. 2. 3. Disappointment = suppressed energy (LOC 125) - (LOC = Level of Consciousness from Dr. David Hawkins book called "Power vs. Force") Example John is an artist wants and he wants to grow his income and no matter what he tries, "nothing seems to work". Each time this happens, he feels disappointed because he's not getting what he wants. (and without accepting his feelings of disappointment, the feelings become even more suppressed - and continue to block the flow of money and abundance in his life. 4

When John learned the Clearing Technique (this exercise) and began to discover that his pattern (the suppressed, limiting belief) was "I never get what I want", he began to transform. As he took time to breathe in the feeling of "disappointment" and he allowed himself to fully feel that feeling, he noticed that it began to release - almost effortlessly. John now has eliminated his issue of "not enough money" and has tripled his income - with no more effort than he used to expend before he discovered and let go of the suppressed belief of "I never get what I want". Does it ever feel like you have your foot on the brakes and the accelerator at the same time? The prime cause is limiting beliefs (suppressed) in our subconscious. When we allow ourselves to fully feel these feelings, they begin to release - and the "stuckness" that we used to experience transforms into feelings of calm, peace and joy. And it's from this place of calm, peace, and joy that we can more easily manifest what we love to create in our lives (without attachment) Exercise Begin by writing down 3 problems in your life that you would like to change or get rid of 1. 2. 3. Pick one issue you'd most like to change 2. Ask yourself 'What is the feeling I feel around this challenge?" 3. Allow yourself to fully feel the feeling (Very important - so you can release any suppressed subconscious 5

energy or blocks) Take a deep cleansing breath 4. Step back from the feeling - Notice it, observe it from your Higher Self Take a deep cleansing breath 5. Choose to let it go - allow the emotion to release by saying "I choose to let this feeling go - now" and Take a deep cleansing breath 6. Check in with your feelings - is the feeling fully released? If not go back to step 2 and continue until you feel completely at peace. 7. Allow your intention to come to you - without effort Breathe three deep breaths as you allow your manifestation to become real Present Moment Awareness When you're fully present - fully aware, even what used to seem difficult begins to lose its power over you. By being fully present, you feel your feelings, notice your thoughts, and see life from the observer perspective (witness). What used to be problems for us begin to seem mere challenges and in many cases, you transcend the issue completely. Present Moment Awareness = Self Love Present Moment Awareness = Conscious breathing Present Moment Awareness = no resistance, only acceptance Let's review the steps of clearing any issue in your life: 6

Steps of Letting Go 1. Identify the problem or challenge you have 2. Ask yourself 'What is the feeling I feel around this challenge?" 3. Allow yourself to fully f-e-e-l the feeling (Very important - so you can release any suppressed subconscious energy or blocks) Take a deep cleansing breath 4. Step back from the feeling - Notice it, observe it from your Higher Self 5. Choose to let it go - allow the emotion to release by saying "I choose to let this feeling go - now" and Take a deep cleansing breath 6. Check in with your feelings - is the feeling fully released?, If not go back to step 2 and continue until you feel completely at peace. 7. Allow your intention to come to you - without effort Breathe three deep breaths as you allow your manifestation to become real Review Steps 1. Feel the feeling 2. Step Back 3. Let go of the feeling When you allow yourself to fully feel your feelings and accept them, you open up enormous reserves of energy within you. And the more you accept yourself (even if you have Slips of Your Magnificence, you ll still be present and you ll be free. Free of both the good and the bad 7
