Introduction to World Cultures and Geography: Eastern Hemisphere World Cultures and Geography: Eastern Hemisphere is the ideal choice for courses that focus on the panorama of the world and its varied cultures. Its thorough introduction to and emphasis on the five themes of geography is combined with regional, chronological, and issue-focused approaches to explore topics such as cultural diversity, democracy, and science and technology. World Cultures and Geography: Eastern Hemisphere is a highly integrated program which incorporates, geography, history, economics, and government, in addition to social studies skills, such as reading maps, interpreting charts and graphs, and thinking critically.
