SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2018 1 GREAT IS THE LORD Great is the Lord, He is holy and just; by His power we trust in His love. Great is the Lord, He is faithful and true; by His mercy He proves He is love. Great is the Lord and worthy of glory! Great is the Lord and worthy of praise. Great is the Lord; Now lift up your voice, Now lift up your voice; Great is the Lord! Great is the Lord! Great is the Lord, He is holy and just; by His power we trust in His love. Great are You, Lord, and worthy of glory. Great are You, Lord, and worthy of praise. Great are You, Lord, I lift up my voice, I lift up my voice. Great are You, Lord! Great are You, Lord! THIS IS OUR GOD God, our Father, full of power; Maker of the heavens, Maker of the world, forming all things, seen and unseen; Truly the Almighty beyond all measured worth-- Holy is His Name. We believe the Lord our God is One: Father, Spirit, Son; This is our God! We believe forever He will reign; Let the church proclaim: This is our God! Our Lord Jesus sent to save us, born unto a virgin, lived a perfect life; Greatly suffered, dying for us; From the grave He s risen, seated now on high-- Holy is His Name. Jesus will come back again, Amen, to judge the living and the dead, Amen; Usher in the age to come; let everyone sing Amen. Spirit, holy One in glory, speaking through the prophets, empowering the Church; Life is given by and through Him; With the Son and Father, worshiped and adored Holy is His name.

SEE THE DESTINED DAY ARISE 2 Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Lamb of God for sinners slain! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ, we praise your name! See the destined day arise! See a willing sacrifice! Jesus, to redeem our loss, hangs upon the shameful cross; Jesus, who but You could bear wrath so great and justice fair? Every pang and bitter throe, finishing Your life of woe? Who but Christ had dared to drain, steeped in gall, the cup of pain; And with tender body bear thorns, and nails, and piercing spear? Slain for us, the water flowed, mingled from Your side with blood; Sign to all attesting eyes of the finished sacrifice. Holy Jesus, grant us grace in that sacrifice to place all our trust for life renewed, pardoned sin, and promised good. Grant us grace to sing Your praise, 'round Your throne through endless days, Ever with the sons of light: Blessing, honor, glory, might! MY SAVIOR S LOVE I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus, the Nazarene, and wonder how He could love me, a sinner, condemned, unclean. How marvelous! How wonderful! And my song shall ever be: How marvelous! How wonderful is my Savior s love for me! For me it was in the garden He prayed, "Not My will, but Thine. He had no tears for His own griefs, but sweat drops of blood for mine. He took my sins and my sorrows, He made them His very own; He bore the burden to Calvary and suffered and died alone When with the ransomed in glory His face I at last shall see, twill be my joy thru the ages to sing of His love for me.

SEE THE MAN OF SORROWS NOW 3 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Jesus, crowned with may crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now. Once You were humbled, heavy thorns upon Your brow. Once You were broken till Your love came raining down. Despised and rejected by the ones You came to save, You cried, It is finished!" and the darkness had its day. But oh, what a morning when the stone was rolled away. And the people sing: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the man of sorrows now. Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now. I will not fear now what Your grace has overcome. I will not tremble through a fight You ve already won. I ll lay down my burdens, and I ll lift my hands in praise. I will look to You, Jesus, Name above all other names! And the people sing: Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now. It is over. You have done it. Hallelujah! What a Savior. It is finished. You have won it. You will reign forevermore! It is over. You have done it. Hallelujah! What a Savior. It is finished. You have won it. You will reign forevermore! Where, O death, is your victory? Where O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the Man of Sorrows now! Where O death, is your victory? Where O grave, is your sting? He s alive. See the Man of Sorrows now. Jesus, crowned with many crowns. See the man of Sorrows now! See the Man of Sorrows now! See the Man of Sorrows now!

CHOIR ANTHEM HE S ALIVE 4 The gates and doors were barred and all the windows fastened down; I spent the night in sleeplessness and rose at every sound, half in hopeless sorrow and half in fear the day would find the soldiers breakin through to drag us all away. Just before the sunrise, I heard something at the wall; The gate began to rattle and a voice began to call. I hurried to the window and looked down into the street, expecting swords and torches and the sound of soldiers feet. But there was no one there but Mary, so I went down to let her in. John stood there beside me as she d told me where she'd been. She said they might have moved Him in the night but none of us knows where; The stone s been rolled away and now His body isn't there! We both ran t ward the garden, then John ran on ahead; We found the stone and the empty tomb just the way that Mary said. But the winding sheet they wrapped Him in was just an empty shell, and how or where they'd taken Him was more than I could tell. Well, something strange had happened there, but what I didn t know; John believed a miracle but I just turned to go. Circumstance and speculation couldn't lift me very high, cause I'd seen them crucify Him, then I saw Him die. Back inside the house again the guilt and anguish came; Ev rything I'd promised Him just added to my shame. When at last it came to choices, I denied I knew His name; And even If He was alive, it wouldn't be the same. But suddenly the air was filled with a strange and sweet perfume; Light that came from ev rywhere drove the shadows from the room. And Jesus stood before me with His arms held open wide, and I fell down on my knees, and I just clung to Him and cried. Then He raised me to my feet and as I looked into his eyes, the love was shining out from Him like sunlight from the skies. The guilt and my confusion disappeared in sweet release; Ev ry fear I'd ever had just melted into peace. He's alive! He's alive! He's alive and I'm forgiven! Heaven s gates are open wide! He's alive!

O GREAT GOD 5 Help me now to live a life that s dependent on Your grace; Keep my heart and guard my soul from the evils that I face. You are worthy to be praised with my every thought and deed; O great God of highest heav n glorify Your Name through me. You are worthy to be praised with my every thought and deed; O great God of highest heav n glorify Your Name through me. INVITATION SOFTLY AND TENDERLY Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling, calling for you and for me; See, on the portals He s waiting and watching, watching for you and for me. Come home, come home, ye who are weary come home; Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, O sinner, come home. Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading, pleading for you and for me? Why should we linger and heed not His mercies, mercies for you and for me? Come home, come home, ye who are weary come home; Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, O sinner, come home. Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing, passing from you and from me; Shadows are gathering, death s night is coming, coming for you and for me. Come home, come home, ye who are weary come home; Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, O sinner, come home. O for the wonderful love He has promised, promised for you and for me! Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon, pardon for you and for me! Come home, come home, ye who are weary come home; Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, calling, O sinner, come home.

OFFERTORY IMMANUEL 6 From the squalor of a borrowed stable, by the Spirit and a virgin's faith; To the anguish and the shame of scandal came the Savior of the human race! But the skies were filled with the praise of heaven; Shepherds listen as the angels tell of the Gift of God come down to man, at the dawning of Immanuel. King of heaven now the Friend of sinners, humble Servant in the Father's hands; Filled with power and the Holy Spirit, filled with mercy for the broken man. Yes, He walked my road and He felt my pain, joys and sorrows that I know so well; Yet His righteous steps give me hope again: I will follow my Immanuel! Through the kisses of a friend's betrayal, He was lifted on a cruel cross; He was punished for a world's transgressions, He was suffering to save the lost. He fights for breath, He fights for me, loosing sinners from the claims of hell; And with a shout our souls are free: Death defeated by Immanuel! Now He's reigning in the place of honor, crowned with glory on the highest throne; Interceding for His own beloved till His Father calls to bring them home! Then the skies will part as the trumpet sounds: Hope of heaven or the fear of hell; But the Bride will run to her Lover's arms, giving glory to Immanuel! BENEDICTION SEE THE DESTINED DAY ARISE Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Lamb of God for sinners slain! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jesus Christ, we praise your name!
