Ravi Sutlej Beas Note: In 1960, Indus Waters Treaty occurred between India and Pakistan. In which, Pakistan will have the right to 80% water of Indus, Jhelum, Chenab. Beas river: - It rises from Beas Kund near Rohtang Pass. It is released into the Sutlej River. Its total length is 725 km. In ancient times it was known Vipasha.

River Ganga: - point of origin: It originates from The Gangotri glacier in Uttarakhand near Particular place is called Gaumukh. Where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi river flows in two waves. These two streams meet at a place called Devaprayag. From here, it was known as the Ganga. The other two branches of the river Alaknanda is Dhauliganga and Vishnuganaga. Dhauliganga and Vishnuganaga came to a place called Vishnuprayag. Later, the Pindar river joins to the Alaknanda river. This place is called Karnprayag. Similarly, the meeting place of Alaknanda and Mandakini is called Rudraprayag. Finally, it joins the Bay of Bengal, its total length is 2525 km.

Gandak: - It originates from Nepal joins the Ganges near Patna. Its total length is 425 km in India. It is known as Shaligram in Nepal and Narayani in planes. Kosi: - It originates from Kanchenjunga mountain passes and go ahead it join the Ganga. Its total length is 750 km.
Chambal: - IT originates from Mhow near Indore. Its total length is 966 km. Finally, it meets with Yamuna.
Betwa River It originates from Vindhyachal mountain near Kumara village in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh. Finally, it meets with Yamuna near Hamirpur. Its total length is 480 km Son: - It originates from Amarkantak hills and It join the Ganges in Patna. Its total length is 780 km.
Kali Sindh (Sharda): - It originates from Milam glaciers in Kumaon Himalayan and finally dropped into Ghaghara river near Bahramghat.
Luni River: - It originates from Naag mountain in Ajmer district and merges into the Rann of Kutch. The total length is 320 km. Sabarmati river: - It originates from Jai Samundra lake on Aravalli mountain in Udaipur district and finally dissolved in Gulf of Khambhat. Its total length is 371km.
Godavari river system: Godavari Penganga Manjara Indravati Godavari - It originates from Trymbk peak near Nasik. It is the most length in Maharashtra and Falls into the Bay of Bengal. Its total length is 1465km. It is also called South Ganaga.
Penganga: - It originates from the Nandi Hills in Karnataka. It flows between rivers Krishna and Cauvery. Its total length is 597 km. Other Rivers: North Pennar South Pennar Cauvery Vaigai
