To all who are spiritually weary and seek rest; to all who mourn and long for comfort; to all who struggle and desire victory; to all who sin and need a Savior; to all who are strangers and want fellowship; to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness; and to all who will come, this church opens wide her doors and offers welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Growth Groups No one can thrive with just a Sunday morning connection. Each of us needs a place to develop genuine friendships, to ask honest questions, and to discover the implications of the Gospel to real life. Growth Groups are where that happens most authentically. They are the primary place for pastoral care. They are open groups led by trained lay leaders designed for the curious, the skeptic, the struggling, the experienced, the new and the old - people all along the spiritual journey. They are the very lifeblood of the church. Prelude Call to Worship Sunday Worship February 28, 2016 10:00 A.M. Contact the pastor or one of these Growth Group leaders to discuss getting involved. Every group is always open to those not yet involved. Brochures on the value and format of Growth Groups are available in the Great Room. Thy free grace alone, from the first to the last, hath won my affection and bound my soul fast. Without Thy sweet mercy, I could not live here. Sin would reduce me to utter despair, But through Thy free goodness, my spirit's revived, and He that first made me still keeps me alive. Great Father of mercies, Thy goodness I own and the covenant love of Thy crucified Son. All praise to the Spirit whose whisper divine seals mercy and pardon and righteousness mine. Soul On Fire : God, I m running for Your heart, I m running for Your heart, til I am a soul on fire. Lord, I m longing for Your ways. I m waiting for the day When I am a soul on fire, til I am a soul on fire. (Repeat) Lord, restore the joy I had. I have wandered, bring me back. In this darkness, lead me through until all I see is You!! Bridge: Lord, let me burn for You again. Let me return to You again. Lord, let me burn for You again! Let me return to You again! God, I m running for Your heart, I m running for Your heart til I am a soul on fire, Til I am a soul on fire, til I am a soul on fire. -8- -1-

HIS Behold Our God Who has held the oceans in His hands? Who has numbered every grain of sand? Kings and nations tremble at His voice. All creation rises to rejoice. Behold our God seated on His throne, come let us adore Him. Behold our King nothing can compare, come let us adore Him. Who has given counsel to the Lord? Who can question any of His words? Who can teach the One who knows all things? Who can fathom all His wondrous deeds? Financial Management Seminar Beginning on Tuesday, March 15th, we will offer a money management seminar called Financial Peace University (FPU). FPU isn't your typical money class. Corporate Prayer of Confession: Gracious God and Loving Father, you have promised that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just and will forgive our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We admit that none of our motives are pure, that both our evil deeds, and our good works, fall short of your glory. Accept our confession, as we trust in the work of Christ and the cross. Cleanse, heal and renew us. Through Jesus we pray. Amen. Inclement Weather Policy In the event that inclement weather necessitates us to cancel the Sunday morning service, a banner will be on our website, www.hanovervalley.org. Private Confession Words of Encouragement Psalm 103:11-13 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him. *Song of Assurance Great is Thy Faithfulness Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father; there is no shadow of turning with Thee, Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not, as Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be. -2- -7-
