Industrial Exhibition (In addition to the Ilmi competitions, the industrustrial exhibition will also take place.) Participants can create any items that they will bring to the mosque on Ijtima. An exhibition will be organized. The aim is to encourage and appreciate creativity. Examples: Paintings, Models, Any hand-made object, Electrical or mechanical device that you yourself have made, Software that you have developed, Tips and Tricks that you can present/show on Ijtima. Etc. There will be separate competitions for Mayar e-sagheer and Mayar e Kabeer. Innovative ability and hard work will be a high focus at assessment. Therefore, try to make the object yourself without much external help. Evaluation will be done based on following criteria a) Creativity and Innovation b) Hard work c) Benefits and usability d) Presentation/Display. 2
MARKING RULES FOR SAGHEER AND KABEER Tilawat Melody (Qirrat) Rules (Tajweed) Pronunciation (Talaffuz) 10 10 10 No extra marks for remembering by heart Judges can decide to stop a tifl after few verses Tifl can select any one of the two, provided for Tilawat Nazm Melody Pronunciation Execution (Volume, Style etc.) 10 5 5 Max three verses allowed. No repitition of any verse. No extra points for singing the poetry by heart. Tifl can select any one of the three, provided for Nazm. Adhan Melody Pronunciation & Rules Memorization 10 10 5 Should be able to receite by heart, including Fajr. Judges can decide the start and end. Hifze Quran Memorization Pronunciation & Rules 20 10 Judges can decide which part to listen Hifze Adhya Memorization Pronunciation & Rules 20 10 Judges can decide which part to listen Speech Urdu/Swedish Presentation Contents Memorization 15 10 5 Duration 3-4 minutes If the speech is less than 3 min or more than 4 min, the speech will be dis-qualified Tifl can select any one of the three topics provided. Separate competitions in Swedish and Urdu. Participants can either take part in Swedish or Urdu (not both). Team Quiz Three teams will be made. One each from Malmö, Göteborg and Stockholm/Kalmar/Luleå. Each team will have three members. Members to be selected in each Majlis by Nazim Atfal. Atfal not among the three selected can also give answer. In that case 0.5 marks will be given. Essay writing Contents Layout/Presentation 20 10 The deadline for submission is 15th March 2017 Should be emailed to atfal@mkasverige.org as a word, inpage or PDF Essay may be written in Swedish, English or Urdu. It is expected that Atfal write the essay themselves and parents don't write it. At the end of the essay, there should be a list of references that has been used in the essay. 3
