L.I.V.E. (Living in Victorious Expressions) Ministries PRESENTS THE L.I.V.E. BOOK CLUB SERIES Q&A WITH TIM GREENWOOD, AUTHOR OF WALKING IN FAITH FOREWORD WITH CHRISTOPHER C. COOPER Hello Mr. Greenwood, I am so honored to have the opportunity to have this little Q&A session with you, about your fantastic book "Walking in Faith". They always say big things come in small packages. At first glance this book seems to be another little 1 or 2 hour read that will do a little something for you, but once you get into it, it's like WOW; this is some powerful stuff, AMEN. So, we just want to ask you 10 questions on behalf of our L.I.V.E. Book Club. So thanks once again for your time and let's get on into it. CHRISTOPHER C. COOPER 10 QUESTIONS WITH TIM GREENWOOD AUTHOR OF WALKING IN FAITH Christopher C. Cooper: We know that your testimony concerning health is a keynote inspiration for this book, but would you say anything else prompted you to write it? Tim Greenwood: I don't know what your readers believe, so I'm just going to relate what happened. My healing began with hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit teaching me what the Bible says about healing. Shortly after I had received incremental healing over a four-month period as I learned, believed and acted upon what the Bible said about healing, the Holy Spirit told me to put my testimony in writing and to place it on a web page which He then showed me how to do. That web page has now become an award winning Christian web site (www.tgm.org) receiving over a million and a half hits a year on the hundreds of pages of resources that help people receive all of God s goodness. When the initial web page was done, the Holy Spirit told me to take the text of my testimony that I had placed on the web page and reformat it as a book and then showed me how to do that too.
Christopher C. Cooper: How long did it take you to write this book, and when and where did you do it (did you write it all our with your hand first or on the computer, write it during the day, night, etc.)? Tim Greenwood: At the time I got sick, I was a software engineer, so I'm a computer guy. So I wrote the text and organized it using msword over the period of a month or so and then after the first edit, transferred the text to Adobe Pagemaker, which helped me format the book. Some days I would start in the morning and just go till I couldn't keep my eyes open any more. I particularly remember working into the wee hours of the morning several times while designing the cover art in Paint Shop Pro. Christopher C. Cooper: Although the entire book is great, which chapter do you want people to get the most out of, out of the nine of them? Tim Greenwood: Well, I had also been a Pastry Chef. And a chef can really get excited about the idea of making something special, and get excited about all the recipes and plans to make it happen. But nothing is quite like that moment when all the pieces come together into the finished product! That is why people get so excited about Chapter eight, Putting It All To Work which describes the moment when I achieved victory! This is where most people really grab-hold of their victory! Christopher C. Cooper: For those who aren't necessarily familiar with the name Tim Greenwood or your ministry, what would you tell them that you are exactly out to do? Tim Greenwood: Through Tim Greenwood Ministries, as a Christian authors, lecturers and teachers, my wife Marcia and I specifically help people receive and retain physical, mental and emotional healing by faith through my personal testimony of rapid incremental healing from terminal heart disease and many other teachings that are available in audio, video, internet and print medias and generally help people receive all that God has for them. As ordained ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my wife and I preach and teach as a ministry team by invitation across the United States in Christian churches and organizations. Pastors that would like to invite Tim and Marcia to share powerful messages of faith and healing can contact them through the following email address: (staff@tgm.org). Christopher C. Cooper: With this book being available for FREE, how many requests has your ministry received, I would guess a lot! Tim Greenwood: Walking in Faith is a combination testimony and teaching of how I received healing after being sent home to die. We offer this book free and postage paid on our web site www.tgm.org. The book is in its 6th printing and has been translated into four languages. Nearly 20,000 copies of Walking in Faith have so far been ordered in all fifty states of the U.S. and in 134 other nations of the world. Christopher C. Cooper: In Chapter #6 you talking about standing on the Word. With people walking by sight and not faith (as the bible commands directly not to), what additional advice could you give them for assurance that the promises of God will manifest? Tim Greenwood: That s easy! ALWAYS base your faith squarely upon a specific promise or statement of fact in the Bible! And then, base your faith in that promise
upon knowing that God personally loves you so much that He will simply DO what He said He would do. Christopher C. Cooper: Your Book "Walking in Faith" is inspired by your testimony, what do you think the power of the testimony does? Tim Greenwood: Rev 12:11 says that by the end of the book, we overcome Satan and his demons by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony! My testimony and others like it diminish the darkness of the Devils kingdom by lifting up the marvelous light of Jesus Christ! It helps people understand that If God did this for me He will do the same thing for them because God is no respecter of persons. Christopher C. Cooper: What kind of feedback have you gotten from this book? Tim Greenwood: We have had loads of thank-you letters, but the really exciting part are the testimonies of people receiving their healings just like I received mine! Healings from headaches to heart disease, acid reflux to AIDS! (Yes I said AIDS!) Acne, asthma, rumitoid arthritis, hepatitis-c, cancers, emphysema, brain-tumors, even quadriplegic paralysis all healed the same way I was healed! Christopher C. Cooper: Your writing skills are outstanding, we like to ask all authors, do you find it easier to write or minister the word vocally? Tim Greenwood: If you knew me in high school you would say that the real miracle here was that I was able to write anything! Let s just say that I was in that part of the class that made the upper two-thirds possible! I find writing satisfying but laborious. I'm still looking for the day when voice-to-text can actually produce a quality document. I'm a teacher first and foremost and with the help and anointing of the Holy Spirit a pretty good preacher. Christopher C. Cooper: If we want to get more familiar with Tim Greenwood and your writing style, what other books do you offer that you would recommend? Tim Greenwood: Walking in Faith is my only book currently in print. I do have another book about three-fourths written that I expect could be ready sometime next year. Excerpts of this book can be found in the Articles Section of the Tim Greenwood Ministries web site under The Suffering Doctrine. We do however have thirty wonderful teaching series on digital audio CD available from the TGM On-line Product Catalog (www.tgm.org). I guess you could say that they are audio books in the raw! Here at Tim Greenwood Ministries (TGM) we just want to be a blessing to the body of Jesus Christ (the church) to help teach, equip, empower and train Christians to do what Jesus did, talk like He talked, walk like He walked, to put on His armor and wield His weapons in short, to be like Jesus!
