With the beginning of a new Coptic year. Is there fruits in my spiritual life?

- Is the fruit in my life important? - How can I bear fruit? - The fruit of the Holy Spirit - Work of the Holy Spirit in the human

Luke 13: 6-9 He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?' But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.'

Is the fruit in my spiritual life important? Why we plant trees? To have fruit Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:2 The differences between people does not depend on their deeds, but how much fruit they have in their life.

How can I bear fruit?

1 I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15: 1-6 Every branch abides in the vine will bear fruit Abide in the true vine The source of the fruit We can t bear fruit by ourselves. Our abiding in our Lord Jesus Christ is the source of our fruit.

How can we abide in Jesus? He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. (John 6:56) Church offers us the means to achieve the goal. Alone I can not, but through my life in the church I can repent, confess, and partake from the communion. Then the blood will flow in me and I can bear fruit.

Zacchaeus the Tax Collector, was not sick or poor but he was rich. And he sought to see (attempt to find) Jesus. As he attempted to find a way to abide in the true vine to bear fruit. Zacchaeus was able to get what he wanted, he was able to be freed from the slavery of money. Sin is caused by the love of the world and repentance is caused by the love of Christ. There are many examples in the Bible about persons followed our Lord Jesus Christ and was able to bear fruit (Zacchaeus - sinful woman - disciples...

What are the fruits of the Holy Spirit in my life? ما ھى انواع ثمار الروح القدس فى حياتى The Bible mentions 9 fruits of the spirit which each believer should have all of them (Galatians 5:22-23). We can categorize them as follow: The fruit of the Spirit: The believer's relationship with the Lord Love Joy Peace The believer's relationship with others. Long suffering kindness Goodness The believer's relationship with himself. من يبدأ بثمرة يمكن أن يكمل.. واألساس المحبة faithfuln ess Gentle ness Who starts with one fruit can continue.. But the foundation is love selfcontrol

The work of the Holy Spirit in the human 1- Leading the man 2- Reveals the will of God to humans. 3- Reveals to human how he likes the Virtue.

The work of the Holy Spirit in humans: 1- Leading us What does it mean that the Holy Spirit is leading us? Human = Body + Soul + Spirit (Mind Emotion Senses) Who is leading you, Body or Mind or Emotion or Senses or Spirit?

The work of the Holy Spirit Spirit Mind Emotion Senses Body 1- The Holy Spirit will be leading the human spirit and control it. 2- The Spirit with the Holy Spirit seizes the mind and keep it holy. 3- The spirit and mind control the Emotion and keep it holy. 4- The spirit and the mind and the emotion control the senses and keep it holy. 5- The spirit and the mind and the emotion and the senses sanctify the whole body. At the end all energies are working for God. This is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Spirit Mind Emotion Work of the devil Senses Body 1. The devil works on the body and the instincts so he defile all the senses. 2. The body and the senses defile the emotion. 3. The body and the senses and the emotion defile the mind. 4. As a result, the spirit becomes weak At the end all energies are working for the devil and the earthly, no fruit will be in the life of this man

Spirit Body

The work of the Holy Spirit in the human 2- Reveals the will of God to humans. For this is the will of God, your sanctification (1 Thessalonians 4:3)

The work of the Holy Spirit in the human 3- Reveals to human how he likes the Virtue. So he can bear fruit with them. The first virtue is love. Love to God and from God, not the world s cheap love (the love of money - benefit - sin...) If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. Luke 6:32

Q) Why does the fruits of the Holy Spirit sometimes not appear in my life? If we put the mind before the Spirit then the fruit of the Holy Spirit will not appear in our life. God's work is above mind. Mind may realize it, but it is above it. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (Romans 8:14)
